Important: Just so that you understand this random little thing, you may want to remember the ending of The Doctor Dances when Jack boards the TARDIS for the first time and the Doctor and Rose are dancing. At the very end Jack glances at the floor before looking back at the Doctor and Rose and there's a smile on his lips. Jack POV.
That's When I Knew
I had a suspicion that there might be something between them when I first met her. Well…not when I first met her, more like when I first saw them together.
The way they'd argue but not really mean it. The way she'd look at him and let her eyes linger for a few seconds longer.
But I knew, and I mean, really knew, that it wasn't all innocent-friends-for-life-and-nothing-else-fun-and-games when I saw them dancing the first time I boarded the TARDIS.
They danced and she looked him in the eye and you could see she was happy to be there dancing with him.
And you could tell that he wasn't the sort of guy who'd dance for just anyone. Just for her.
They stopped and I saw it. Couldn't stop grinning at each other, those two.
Love. That's what you call it. They were in love.
Still are, wherever they are in the universe. I like to think so.
