Shaky hands went to tie the long red object around the rough branch of the tree. "When we're back together, I won't hold back this time…" The slim accessory flapped freely, the current of the wind blowing the body of it aimlessly.
"I promise I'll tell you… I won't let my second chance go…"
Sorrow glimmering in the depths of the tired brown irises, he turned and walked off in the opposite direction. Behind him, the scarf fluttered in the breeze, symbolizing his promise and fierce devotion toward his beloved.
Slowing down to a stop, Kenji Ohgami glanced over his shoulder, peering back at it one last time. "Wait for me, Riko…"
