Zelda flipped a pancake from the pan onto a plate. She poured syrup over them, and set them onto the table. She stood there, looking satisfied at the table laid out with a white and purple tablecloth, three plates lay out at each end of the table. A row of breakfast foods lined the center of the table; bacon and eggs, a pot of freshly-brewed coffee and lots of pancakes. "Mommy, are the pancakes done?" she felt a small tug on her dress. Looking down at her first-born son, she smiled and answered, "Yes, dear, go wake up daddy so we can eat please.". "Okay!" he said, as he raced up the stairs and down the long hall. He stopped at the end of the hallway, looking up at the white door covered in pictures that he had made for his parents. He pushed the door open and stood beside the large bed. "Daddy! Breakfast time!" he said, bouncing with energy. Link lay asleep, lightly snoring. "Dad!" he shouted. No answer, just snores. He glanced over at the nightstand, where his father's ocarina lay. Picking it up very carefully, he held it up to Link's ear, took a deep breath and...

"GAH!" Link shot straight up, holding his right ear. "G-Geez, kid..." he groaned, rubbing his eye and pulling the blanket off. "Mommy said it's time for breakfast" the small child answered. "Heh... Your mother makes the best breakfasts..." he grinned weakly, dragging himself out of the bed and down the hallway to the kitchen. "Good morning, dear. I made pancakes, bacon and extra eggs for you." Zelda smiled, as she poured orange juice into a cup for him. "Thanks, Zelda..." he yawned, and took a bite of his pancake.

After the table was cleared off, and their son was outside playing with his friends, Link walked over to Zelda, putting his hands on her stomach. "Can't wait to see her..." he said, feeling a small foot lightly poke his hand. Zelda blushed, then smiled, "She's going to be beautiful, don't you think?". "As beautiful as you" he answered, kissing his wife on the head, then walking over to the couch to slip on his boots. "I'll be back later. Thanks for breakfast, Zelda!" he called out, as he walked out the door. "Be safe, dear!" She called back.

She looked down at her stomach, she saw a little foot kick again. Smiling, she rubbed her stomach, talking to her soon-to-be newborn daughter. "Mama is ready to see you, little one...".

"Mommy! Look at me!" a voice cried, Zelda looked out the open window, her son was covered in dirt and mud. "Oh my! It's a big, scary mud monster!" she jokingly said. "Let's get you to the bathtub, sweetie. I can't have muddy footprints in my castle!".
