Sam punched him once in the face, but once just wasn't enough, he did it, two, three, four more times. He couldn't help it, that thing just hurt his brother! He was going to pay!
Suddenly the creature responded and decided to fight back. It kicked Sam hard in the stomach, sending him flying across the lot. He hit the Impala hard. Dean was going to be pissed if he left a dent.
He heaved himself up, gripping the stake tight, and charged back at it.
It snarled and jumped at least five feet in the air, landing on top of one of the cars.
Sam looked around, clueless as to where the creature was. His only warning was the rush of air before something slammed into his back.
"Son of a..."
Suddenly Dean was laying beside him.
"Glad to see you awake, Dean."
"Glad to see you taking care of business, Sam," Dean said with a roll of his eyes.
Sam suddenly side-swept the creature, catching it off guard long enough to plunge the wooden stake into it's chest.
"Thanks," Sam said, turning to face Dean with a smirk on his face.
Nope, Vampires Can't bring Sam Winchester down.
