Street Rats

Abu and Al, they rule the streets,

Thieves unlike any other.

Know when the time has come to pounce,

Know when to hide in cover.

The palace guards, they can't keep up,

The pair make them enraged.

One step ahead, the street rats are,

Their foes they disrepage.

The city folk, they let them pass,

They chortle at the fun.

Every time they see a chase,

They already know who's won.

And at last they shake them off,

Evaded foes' attacks.

Now the time has come to both dig in,

To savour spoils and relax.
