Hiya! Its Wolf here and here is a fluffy one
shot! I got this idea during a reading test (it was so annoying cause I had to note it down on my hand so I wouldn't forget it) because I was thinking of TMNT and I thought of a piece of fan art I saw so thats the inspiration for this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was midnight, the turtles had went out camping because they wanted to enjoy one last moment in the wilderness before they left for New York City.
Raph awoke to the sound of sniffling and sat up to be greeted with the sight of his youngest brother staring up at the star soaked skies, eyes swimming with tears. He sat there still for a second before using every ounce of ninja stealth he had at that moment to make his way over to Mikey and sit next to him. Mikey wasn't even aware of this until Raph placed a comforting hand on his shoulder before giving him a proper hug. The two of them stayed like this for a while, not wanting the moment to be ruined. Mikey finally spoke up,
"What if it doesnt work,"
"What do you mean?" Raph questioned, turning his gaze to his little brother.
"What if we can't take back New York and Father is d-" Mikey stopped, he couldn't say it, it couldn't be true.
"Mikey I promise you that we will get our home back, no matter what it takes... but whats really wrong?" Raph could easily tell Mikey was hiding something, after living with him for so long he knew when something was bothering him.
"I- I'm scared I'll screw everything up again, when we left I couldn't stop Leo leaving or stop Master Splinter getting thrown away and I'm scared you guys don't love me," Mikey whispered the last part and buried his head in his brothers shoulder.
"Mikey there was nothing you could do and you didn't screw anything up... you saved me from my own anger, and I never thanked you for it," Raph shivered at the memory. "And we do love you, more than you could ever realise- we don't say that enough little bro,"
As the two brothers sat on in silence for a while more a shooting star whizzed past which made Mikey instantly brighten.
"A shooting star look Raphie make a wish!" Mikey squealed ecstatically, his voice possessing the innocence of a child.
"I wish... that none of my brothers will ever change," Raph thought before drifting off into a contented reverie knowing his brothers would never change, he would always be there for them and he wouldn't break his promise to Mikey.
And guess what he didn't break it...
And there we have it! I'm sorry if this wasn't good enough I just really had to get that off my chest... and my hand. Also the artwork this was inspired by was basically a picture of Raph and Mikey looking up into the stars... it always has a impact on me for some reason. I'm sorry I don't know who drew the art but they done a good job!
