Jackson and Greta are my original characters, but I don't own CSI.
Title says it all! Please read and review!
Greta Catherine Sanders absolutely loved spending a day with her family. She happily sat on the floor with her brother Jackson and mommy Morgan as they played with some of her favorite toys. Greta and Jackson's smiles lit up the room as Morgan sang silly songs with them and played with some of Greta's toys.
"Aah!" Greta happily squealed as Jackson danced around the room and laughed.
Morgan smiled at her children. "You having a good time, sweet girl?" She asked her daughter as Jackson plopped on the floor laughing.
Greta reached for her brother and tried to pull herself up on her feet. "Aah ooh!" She grunted as she tried to get up.
Jackson smiled. "You gonna try to walk to mama?"
"Can you stand up, sweetie?" Morgan asked Greta.
The baby girl plopped on her diapered bottom and grunted softly. "Baba?" Greta said as she tried to pull herself back up.
"You can do it!" Jackson said. He stood and took Greta's hands. "Come on, you can do it!"
Greta looked up at her brother and thought for a moment. She tentatively took his hands and grunted softly as she tried to pull herself on her feet.
Morgan took her cell phone and started recording her daughter standing up. "You can do it," she whispered. Greta smiled at her mother.
As she pulled herself up, Greta's smile grew like she knew she was doing something big. She looked up at her brother as he held her hands.
"That's it," Jackson said with a smile. He gently held Greta's hands as she stood up.
Greta stood and looked at her feet, knowing she was doing something very big. "Aah!' She said with a smile.
Morgan smiled at her son helping her daughter to her feet. "That's it," she whispered. "You're standing!"
"Yeah!" Jackson said with a big smile to his sister. "I knew you could do it!"
Greta smiled, but she wasn't done yet.
The front door opened and Greg said, "I'm home!"
Before Jackson and Morgan could say anything, Greta lifted an unsteady foot off the floor. As soon as she did, she took another step. And another, and another!
Greg stood in the doorway and watched with pride as his son helped his baby sister take her very first steps. He crouched down and held his arms out for Greta. "Look at you! Can you walk to daddy?"
"Yeah," Jackson said as he helped Greta take a few more steps. Before he knew it, Greta pulled away and walked to her daddy all by herself.
"Aah," Greta said hesitantly as she took a few more wobbly steps. Morgan and Jackson watched with big smiles as baby Greta walked to her father.
"Come on," Greg encouraged his daughter. He smiled with love and pride at both his children.
Greta took another wobbly step and, when she was just a step away from Greg, reached for him and almost fell into his arms.
Greg cradled his daughter. "You did it," he whispered. "You're walking!"
Jackson rushed to his daddy and sister. "Greta, you did it! I told you you could!"
"And you did," Morgan said with a loving smile.
Greta looked at her family and smiled, feeling quite proud of herself. She looked up at her father and smiled.
Morgan and Jackson hugged Greg and Greta. "Daddy, she walked!" Jackson said.
"I know," Greg said with a loving smile to his children.
"She just pulled herself up and walked to her daddy," Morgan said with a warm smile.
Greta simply smiled at her family. "Babababababababababa!" She babbled as if to say did you see what I did? I did it!
Jackson hugged his sister and kissed her cheek. "You did it, Greta!"
"Yeah," Greg said as he hugged his family. "You did it, sweet girl." He kissed Greta's cheek and the baby squealed happily.
The End
