Walking into the Hive Five quarters, the pink haired sorceress groaned. She lived with five, if you didn't count Billy's duplicates, boys and none of them ever cleaned after themselves. She walked further into the room. The girl could see a flash of colors on the wall, meaning that the television in the next room was left on. She kept her eyes glued to the floor as she walked, making sure she didn't step or slip on anything disgusting.

A laugh echoed behind her. "What'cha doing, Jin-ie?" asked a familiar voice.

Jinx jumped. She had been preoccupied that she hadn't even felt the gust of wind that blew past her just some minutes ago. When she jumped, she lost her footing, landing in a puddle of green gunk.

Her eyes widened as she realized who that voice belonged to. She growled in disgust towards the boy, and to the mess that she had unluckily landed in.

"Ew!" she screeched, loudly.

Smiling coyly, the boy said "Geeze, you could burst a guy's ear drums with your voice."

Jinx pouted. Her eyes glowed pink as her pout turned into a full on scowl.

"What are you doing here?" she questioned, still on the floor.

"The question is, why are you still hanging with these guys?" he said, tossing her question back to her.

She rolled her eyes. "Oh, what do you know?" It was a rhetorical question, but he began to answer it either way.

"A lot, actually" he commented, "I know that you're better than this life, better than those guys you hang around with, and I know you can do better"

"If that's what you think…" Jinx whispered, before aiming bad luck towards Kid Flash, "Then you don't know anything" she muttered, darkly as the bolt of bad luck hit him straight in the stomach, since he was a little too late to notice the power coming at him.

Kid Flash fell down on to the floor. "Now" gasped out Kid Flash, "Why did you have to go and do that?" he asked, lifting his head, a smile adorning his face.

Her eyes widened. "How can you still be smiling? After what I did, you should be scowling, mad at me, furious even!"

He shrugged. "Eh, when you're as fast as me, grudges are something that I can't hold because my emotions go as fast as my speeds."

Her voice low, Jinx said "Wow…that's interesting. So you can't get mad, even if you wanted to?"

He laughed at her question. "Well, actually…it depends really."

"Seriously?" she asked, "So what would provoke you to get mad…or sad?"

Kid Flash thought over the question for a few minutes. A frown found its way to his face as he finished thinking.

"What?" asked Jinx, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing" muttered Kid Flash, sadly. "I just thought of the saddest thing that could ever happen."

"What?"

"You not in this world" he said, softly, hand on her gray cheek.
