Twilight's Glimmer
Hey all this is my first fic here so please be kind!! ^_^ This is a Kenlei..why because I think they would make an AWESOME couple! hee hee please read and tell me what you think!!

the beauty and grace of a queen,
of a love pure and chaste
that I long to see upon your face.
To me you will be
my muse
my angel
my one and only destiny.
Ken Ichijouji walked down the corridor of the school, oblivious to all the people staring at him. Being a boy genius he was now use to the constant attention but now instead of people being amazed at his skills they're were now discussing his failures.
"Hey Sylvie..isn't he Ken Ichijouji..the boy genius!!??"A girl asked her friend as he strolled by.
"The FORMER genius Sylvie..now he's lucky to make the top 10%"the girl replied back in a whisper which was loud enough for him to hear.
'So now I'm not as important as I was before..strange for some reason it doesn't seem to matter anymore..ever since I stopped being the Kaiser everything's changed, and for once I'm feeling like a NORMAL kid instead of the"boy genius",' Ken thought this as he continued to walk. He was supposed to meet the other digidestined at Izzy's in order to form a plan to stop blackwargreymon.
The distance seemed to melt away, Ken was so engrossed with his thoughts that he failed to see the gorgeous masterpiece of nature. The sun was beginning to set, sending her rays of red and gold for a last time to encompass the earth, as if they were two lovers saying farewell with a last touch.
'Why have I changed so? For once in my life I can say that my life is going well...I have friends...I'm helping to make up for the things that I did..I can say that I am almost happy...yes I would be only happy if...'His train of thought was broken as he heard a feminine voice call out his name.
"HEY KEN!," He turned to see a tall girl running towards him. Her hair a stream of shining violet in the glow of the sunlight.
"Hey Yolei,"He smiled slightly at the exuberant digidestined of love and sincerity,"are you heading for Izzy's too?" He queried, mentally kicking himself in the butt,'Of course she's going you idiot!'.
She just smiled up at him, her sherry colored eyes twinkling. Ken felt a strange tug at his heart but just ignored it.
"Yeap...this is going to be great! We'll finally save the digital world once and for all!"She cheered gaily as they continued to Izzy's house.
'God Ken looks hot today!!'Yolei thought to herself,'I can't believe how much he's changed..but I still haven't stopped liking him..*sigh* but it's not like he would go for me..well maybe all I have to do is convince him I'm the girl for him!'Yolei let out a little giggle, then she caught Ken looking at her and blushed. She started laughing nervously.
"Yolei what is it?"Ken asked.
"Oh God! umm..should I just tell him I love him? But what if he doesn't love me?? God what do I do?"Yolei wondered in a panic. She was saved from further explanations when she noticed Izzy's house.
"Oh look we're here!"With that she made some reference to having to feed Poromon right away and made a mad dash for the apartment. Ken just looked at her in puzzlement.
Ok this is the first part..phew sorry but my muse is gone please tell me what you think arigato got to go..will post more if you like it!!
