Amy's POV ~

Ah, high school. The thing that I was dreading since summer ended. But, it really isn't all bad. You feel like it's a breath of fresh air from the old middle school days. Haha. Oh, I miss those days. But, enough reminiscing of the past. It's already 5:59 now. And, I'm not really a kind of girl who wakes up early and is all sunshine and rainbows. Oh no. I'm not a morning person. But, I guess I'll just have to make deal and suck it up. I was snuggled deep into my blankets, sleeping soundly like a little baby. Then, I hear music. I groan, forcing myself to sit up and turn my alarm off. "Geez... why did I turn it up all the way..." I grumbled to myself, reaching over and grabbing my phone. The time read 6:00 with a little message under it saying: "FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL". I look at the message for a little while, processing it in my head. "I can't believe it's actually come..." I thought to myself. The tune coming from the phone was getting even louder it seemed, and I quickly tapped "dismiss". I sighed and turned around, facing the pink curtains, hiding the sunlight. I grabbed them and swiftly opened them, letting the sun shine through my room. I then had to smile. The sunlight shone on me, bringing me into it's embrace. I then sighed again, and said to myself, "Today... will be great. I just know it.." I then jumped out of bed, grabbing my uniform needed for school. I walked straight to the bathroom, prepared to take a shower.

After the warm shower, I dried myself off, making sure I got every place that got wet in the shower. I then started to get dressed into my uniform, already wearing my undergarments. I slipped on the navy blue blazer. Which was accented with a tie. Which looked pretty cute, if I do say so myself. Then I slipped into the matching skirt. Which was oddly short. The black stockings came next, completing the outfit. I put on some black boots I had bought when I went shopping with Rouge and Cream, my two very best friends. They completed the outfit perfectly. I stood in the mirror, looking myself over. I then made a sour face, looking at my unruly long pink hair. I grabbed the hairbrush that lay on my dresser and started to go through it with fast, but not long strokes. My quills have gotten longer since I started 8th grade. Now that I'm 15, they've gotten a bit more longer, now surpassing the length of my shoulders. Once I finally got all the knots out, I put the brush down, looking myself over again. I finally looked presentable. I then grabbed my phone, looking at the time. My eyes were the size of dinner plates. "6:58?! Crap! I'm gonna be late!" I quickly ran out of my room, grabbing my bookbag on my way out.
