He got in the car after work. It was a long day that hadnt started out to bad but he had a feeling it would end the opposite. Calleigh had said they needed to talk and she thought it would be better if they did it soon. He had missed her a lot while he was in puerto rico. The worst part was it was a on the spot decision basically, so he didnt have a chance to tell her. She was more than mad when she had called him 5 days after he got there. She had simply said she would have liked to know and hoped he would have a good time but he knew it was not that simple for her. They had exchanged texts and calls but it hadnt been the same. The text were simple just a hey hows it going? Or a how is everyone? The calls got more in depth but they still werent the same. He would flirt and ask her what she was wearing or ask her how much she missed him. He would tell her how it wasnt the same as miami and that he missed her.

He pulled up to his house. They decided they would talk there, not that it mattered because they had spent equal time at each others houses. He had been rearranging since he got back he had gotten rid of some old things and some old chairs and couches, and gotten new things btu they could replace the memories he had had with calleigh in that house. He changed from his suit into dark jeans and a old miami university tshirt. He had grabbed a water and had just sat down when she rang the doorbell. She had also changed out of work clothes since her house wasnt to far away. She looked simple but good in a white v-neck and light jeans with small rips. He was obviously taken aback by how good she looked. He invited her in and asked her if there was something she wanted to eat or drink. He got her a water, and they went out and sat on the porch.
So i guess we really need to talk? He said
yeah we do. She said
okay do you want to start?
Yeah i can.
Okay.
So eric i missed you while you were gone which might be why"it" keeps happening but you hurt me and then you left and everything with us just froze kinda.
I missed you to and im sorry that i just up and left but everything was going wrong and i had to get away.
Yeah so what do you want to do now concerning us?
I would love to continue to be with you but its up to you
maybe we could try taking it slow?
Really cal?
Yeah why? If you dont want to then we can just move on
no i want to, i would love to, i think it would be fun and intresting to take it slow
okay so do you want to start by going out for dinner?, a movie?, cook dinner?,go running?, watch tv?
I would like to go out for dinner.
Okay then lets go
where would you like to go?
How about applebees?
Okay lets go
calleigh goes to grab her purse but eric stops her and says in a quiet voice "thank you" and gave her a hug that seemed to go on forever. They start to pull away when calleigh reaches up and pulls his head down to hers and gave him what started out as a sweet short kiss turned out to be a make out session when he let her slip her toungue into his mouth. They went on like this for minutes till they both needed air. They pulled away and they were both smiling. Calleigh gave him a sweet kiss before pulling out of his grasp to get her purse. She said" you coming or not babe?" and he walked out his front door right behind her, his hands intertwined with hers.
