Everyone in the Smash Mansion has their own way of life, their own dress code, and most importantly their own feelings. One of the only times they share a common feeling is on Easter. Everyone, even Bowser, gets ecstatic during this time of the year.
"Wake up Luke" Ness exclaimed to his blond friend, who had been sleeping peacefully.
"Wha-what is it" Lucas said automatically.
"Luke, its Easter" Ness said back.
"Wait, its Easter? I have to get ready" Lucas exclaimed with a sudden burst of energy.
Ness left the room and shut the door, to give Lucas his privacy.
Once Lucas was dressed, he grabbed a pen and a notebook.
Dear Diary
Today is Easter, one of the best days of the year. It feels like forever since I last celebrated it with someone else. I wonder if they do baskets here, like my old village used to. I just hope that I am not forgotten again. How could someone forget you on Christmas and forget your birthday. Hopefully this time someone remembers me.
Lucas's thoughts were interrupted "Luke, you ok in there?" Ness asked, a bit worried something might have happened.
"Ye-Yeah I'm fine, just had to uh, brush my teeth." Lucas replied as he dropped his diary on the floor and ran to the door.
They could hear the excitement as they made their way downstairs.
"Hi Ness, hi Luke" Peach said when they were at the bottom of the steps.
"Hi Peach" they both replied back.
Ness was pulled away by Bowser, leaving Lucas alone in the midst of the cafeteria.
"Hey, Ness, I didn't see a basket for Lucas" Bowser said "I can't believe that he has been forgotten again."
"Yeah, I kind of noticed that. I better get back to-" Ness was cut off by a loud cry, and saw a blur pass straight by him.
Ness ran after Lucas, until he was right at the bedroom door.
"Locked, Damn it" Ness cursed under his breath "Luke open up, its me, Ness."
After a few minutes, the door finally slid open a crack, just enough for Ness to get inside.
"Luke, I know its rough to be forgotten all the time, but it won't happen again, I promise" Ness said.
"Yo-you said th-that last ti-time. Wh-Why should I believe you this time?" Lucas asked, while tears ran down his face like a waterfall.
Just then, Ness sweetly pulled Lucas into a kiss.
"Because I didn't lie to you."
