They had just finished making love for the first time in more than six months Arizona was lying with her head on her wife's chest Callie's arms around her, both in happy silence.
"Marry me?" Arizona said out into the silence of the room.
"What?" Callie was confused by the question.
"Marry me, I mean I know we are already married but let's do it again maybe not the whole big wedding thing I just," Arizona took a breath, "we can make it legal now, I want that for us, I want to know that you are my wife in every aspect of the word, because you already are you have been so strong and patient and you have been supportive even when I was horrible to you. I love you and I want that documented in every way I can get it." Arizona lifted her head so she could see her wife's face.
Callie smiled leaning down to kiss her, "Of course I will legally marry you Arizona," she kissed her wife again, "I would remarry you everyday if you asked me to, I love you so much and I want to have it documented that I am yours as well."
Arizona smiled dimples showing as she took Callie's lips with her own, Callie quickly maneuvering so she was hovering over her wife as she smiled down wickedly at her, "I love you, thank you Calliope." Arizona said as she was mindless playing with Callie's hair.
"You don't ever have to thank me, I love you too Arizona." Callie took her lips once more before slowly kissing her way down her wife's body, "let me show you just how much," she smiled.
