What does LOTS of time to daydream, a good challenge, and a fic combine into?

A SECOND ONESHOT!

...Somebody shoot me... now...

It's shorter than my others, just mostly an angsty drabble.

but, anyways, after I made my first oneshot. I knew that I had a bit of emotion missing from it. I thought this up before I went to bed last night. Just to tell everybody, I'm thanking SilverUmbra for these ideas! It helps me with my other fics, too!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Pokemon... I own a level 100 Groudon and a Level 100 Shiny Arceus though... WAHHHHH! -runs away from people asking for trades-

Oh yeah, BTW, this is after Latios's death.

Fic!

LUGIA'S POV.

It seemed like only yesterday...

He was here, that blue eon bird known as Latios. The soon-to-be savior of Altomare. My love. It seemed like only yesterday, 24 hours ago, 1440 minutes ago, whatever you wanted to call it, that he was right by my side, nuzzling me, telling me that he loved me.

Those illusions were now gone.

The illusions of love.

His death brought tears to my eyes as Arceus told us all.

He told me not to cry at his funeral.

I did anyways.

I cried for my lover.

Now, I lay here at the bottom of the ocean. Wishing, just wishing that you would come back to me. The one you left behind.

There is the chance that I could still reach you.

I don't care how high I have to fly

to reach you, even If I die.

I shot out of the sea like a graceful bullet. My body twisted as I broke up the ice at the top of the lake.

I'm going to see you, Latios,

even if I have to die.

I kept flying up, farther than any Legendary had gone before. Farther than ANY pokemon had gone before.

"Higher!" I shouted, increasing my speed.

I was now above the clouds, I did not dare to look down.

"Higher!" I chanted, going even faster.

I could now feel ice accumulating on my wing. I felt the shivers go up my spine, freezing me a bit.

"H...Higher!" I roared, going faster.

...And then came the lack of breath.

I could go no higher.

Then I saw a ghostly wing.

You.

Your ghostly form held my arm, as if to slow down my desent to Earth.

You were crying.

I realized.

I would see you in the end.

I barely had enough breath to say one last statement.

"I don't care how high I have to fly

to reach you, even if I die."

And then came the descent down to Earth.

What is Earth?

Was it a place with rolling seas and dreams?

No.

It was a place of lonliness.

Until I see you again.

My body fell like a graceful being. Twisting, turning.

I fell into the water with a huge splash.

My vision started to fade.

I looked in my wing.

I saw that soul dew. Sapphire, smiling back at me with it's reflection.

I was complete.

I'm going to enjoy life, not worry about Latios!

I don't care how high I have to fly,

I will see you, when I die.

AW YEAH! Nice Angst!

Wait, I ruined it...

Dammit...
