-Chapter 1- Another summer at the Dursley's, this time worse than ever, since Uncle Veron found out that the loose priznor is actually Harry's godfather- Sirius Black, and had started giving him sideway looks and Dudly started screaming every time Harry entered the room. However, there were some advantages, the Dursley family is now so frightened that Harry now have access to his wand, etc. Harry know that he wasn't the only thing in the Dursley's mind at the moment, Uncle Veron's business- Grunnings has been under performing in the FTSE 250 due to the public's interest on high-tech stocks and comes home day after day moaning and groaning and was forced to think of an alternative to making money for living and came up with the plan of investing in stocks, he now puts over £50,000 pounds in stock markets such as- Dow Jones, FTSE and especially he Nasdaq, where most of the internet stocks in America are kept and stayed home, glued to the television set where billions of numbers were flowing across the screen and gained lots of money and smiled for the first time to Harry. However the happiness didn't last long.
It was Friday 14th, Uncle Veron was sitting at his usual place on the couch and as usual he was glued to the telly, Harry watched as the spokes women on CNBC spoke grimly:"Today has been a terrible day for all investers especially for the Nasdaq, the stock market tumbled down over 30% and still going down. Technology and communication stocks are the ones that suffered most due to the rising public's fears of higher intrest rates, when the inflation report has been much higher that people expected, creating this huge selloff. "
Uncle Veron turned to Harry," What do you want boy? We're in dangerous territories at the moment and I'm telling you, we can't afford to keep you anymore, you have ten minutes to get out of the house!" Harry none the less, was a bit surprised by this brutle attack, he was used to Uncle Veron being nice to him and gathered up all his belongings and left the house, as Uncle Veron looked so murderous, Harry didn't think it was a joke.
