I do not own League of Legends...

This came to me while I watching a cosplayer's vlog and there was this roleplay thing with Blood Moon people... XD

Enjoy reading! =)

Shen stares at the strife all around him. The people of Ionia are panicking, scattering, and in general disorder. Akali is in his arms, drenched in her own blood; her white and red robes are being stained dark maroon. Her hand is tightly clenched on the fabric of his robes. Pain is evident on her face and he doesn't blame her for showing it openly.

"Shen... Have we failed?"

Her voice is so weak and so frail. He didn't think it would be possible for her to sound like that. Nevertheless, he lifts his mask to show her a glimpse of his face and he replies, "No. They're gone. We've done well, Fist of Shadow." Akali tried to turn her head, but he prevents her with an arm blocking her head. "The rest will be taken care of by the Order."

There's a skeptical look on her face, but nevertheless she nods and winces at the pain running from her abdomen to her collar bone. "This... We... I didn't..."

"Don't strain yourself," he says, almost scolding. And even though he dreads to ask the question, he does anyway, "Are you cold?"

"Very."

He's asked the question but he doesn't know how to remedy or reply to that. "Is there anything I can do for you, Fist of Shadow?"

Akali chuckles bitterly. "You can... stop calling me... that..."

Shen purses his lips, but nods. "I understand, Akali."

The beginnings of a smile form on her face. Under normal circumstances, she would be beautiful. Under normal circumstances, he would call her by name, always. But this is not a normal circumstance. "Was it... Was it... ever... possible?"

He runs his hand over the length of her hair and notes how dusty it feels compared to how silky it looks. He overlooks how this kind of talk would have warranted some strict punishment because that kind of talk can interrupt what inner balance they need to enforce balance outside. For so long, he's been pondering about that too; was it ever possible?

Shen would like to think that he's a reasonable man; the duties of the Order are more important than what he deems to be his duties. Akali understands, but he can see it in her eyes - the lingering resentment and regret. After all, being a part of the Order doesn't make one impervious to what the past has done to an individual.

"Yes," he replies, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Yes it was more than possible. But not anymore."

She smiles bitterly, leaning into his touch. "We... We were... fools... Big... Utter... Fools..."

He opens his mouth to say something, but she breathes her last and her grip on the fabric of his robe loosens and disappears. Shen's mouth closes and for once, he's forgotten about keeping balance and just cries into her shoulder.

I wanted to make it long, but then I got lazy... The clip I saw had Blood Moon Thresh, Elise, and Kalista in it and I had plans for them, but I was lazy... XD

Sorry about that... I do hope this is acceptable...

Anyway, please do not hesitate to click the REVIEW button and leave me one as it is greatly appreciated... =D
