Rennesme wakes up to the bright sunlight filtering through her bedroom curtains. The big day is finally here. Its her 16th birthday. Even though she has appeared to be a teen since her actual age of 5 it is now official. She gets out of bed and brushes her long curls and gets ready. As soon as she leaves her room she is bombarded with "Happy Birthdays" and hugs from her family. But they aren't who shes looking for. There he is, standing at the back of the crowd with that big, goofy smile. Jacob. He imprited on her when she was just minuets old. He had gone from being her brother to her best friend and then protector. But now for the first time ever, he was more. He was the man she loved.
"Happy birthday Nessie!" he said as he pulled her into a hug."Got any plans today?" he asked as he let her go.
"no I just want to spend it with you." She sad as she pecked him on the lips.
"Anything for you, love," she looked into the eyes that she wanted to see everyday for the rest of her life.
