Summary: A series of moments in the lives of LJ Gibbs and Ziva David. Giva.
A/N: I love the Giva pairing, seriously, and so I've started this. It'll work like Words and Actions, and most of the drabbles really won't connect.
He was blind the first time she came into his life.
Blinded by guilt over Kate's death, and anger at Ari Haswari for killing her.
Blinded by the fact that Jen was back in his life, and his need for revenge.
She was in his way, and that made him even more blind to anything but what she symbolized.
The first time Gibbs really took notice of Ziva happened to be in the seconds after she killed Ari. He was piecing together the tidbits of information he had gathered throughout the day, feeling her pain when she confirmed that the man she had just murdered was her half brother.
Stepping forward, he grabbed her hand for a single second before letting it go and heading toward the stairs of the basement.
Gibbs had been blinded the first time she came into his life, but he always thought it was odd that the first time he actually let his blue eyes see her, it was the strength and not the beauty that caught his eye.
