A/N What do you call these, drabbles? One shots? Eh, who cares….ONWARDS!
And I do own *gets hit by lightning* I do NOT own the Hunger Games or Catching Fire and whatever else Collins owns so….ONWARDS…AGAIN!
It was everywhere, in my mouth, my eyes, and in my clothes.
At first, we all thought it was just rain, but we couldn't have been more wrong.
It was blood.
I grabbed Johanna's hand, who was holding on to Beetee and Wiress, and tried to make our way out of the rain, but it was impossible to see where we were going.
Plutarch better have a good explanation for the blood rain.
We wandered around like lost children, until Wiress started saying something about a clock.
We stopped to try and hear her, but the rain was to loud.
We kept walking until Wiress slipped and fell.
I turned around while still walking to see her on her back, while Johanna's eyes flickered to something in the sky. Her eyes went wide and she yelled something to me that I couldn't make out, because it had happened already.
I felt an enormous shock go through my body, and I flew backwards and landed on the ground with a thud.
I felt the blood rain hitting my face as black spots grew bigger in my eyes, and the last thing I heard over the rain, was a cannon.
Johanna's POV
I felt my stomach drop as Blight hit the force field.
He flew back so far I had to squint my eyes to try and find him.
I ran over to him, trying to call his name over the enormous sound of blood rain hitting the ground, not caring about Beetee or Wiress at the moment, and knelt down by his side.
The moment I put my ear over his heart, there was a cannon blast.
Blight was dead.
Now, there was no one left I loved.
It was my first attempt at one of these, so review! And I know Johanna said Blight wasn't much, but he was from home, but I thought her loving him would make a good short story thing. And Mockingjay may turn out completely different, and Johanna may find love (or might die…but lets not think that) but its not out yet so MWAHAHA! Erm, cough cough…anyway….review!
