A Destiny Reborn

In a large kingdom, that during the first few centuries of civilization, the land of Marticonia had been strong and united, during which time the two Gods, (One is a goddess) of Marticonia, had descended upon the land, yet they were Immortal enemies. Although the only reason they hated each other, was because Mephos, the god of evil, and Sepherine, the Goddess of light, had two entirely different prospects on things such as ethnics. Eventually they each had instructed a small group of people in Marticonia to start a religion in their honor. Sepherines religion was one of light and "good". That of Mephos was one of darkness and evil. As the centuries went by, there was endless attacks, arguments and invasions by both sides due to the hatred the followers of Mehphos had towards the followers of Sepherine and vice versa. As you know now, Mephos had different views of the world and Sepherine had different ones also, their followers also adopted the views. This created that Hatred between the two people we see today. After many centuries of this The high priest of Sepherine got so very tired of this bitter rivalry, and in combined help, separated the land of Marticonia into two continents, Mehpiconia and Sephiconia, connected only by one stretch of land, said to be watched over and protected by the spirits of the earth themselves and then implored to Sepehrine for how they may put an end to this for good.
The goddess had instructed them to go across the land of Marticonia, even in the depths of Mephiconia, to find four powerful orbs. They were each infused with Neutral power of the planets natural source of magical power. They had enough power that combined, they would be able to seal away Mephos with the aid of a spell which was taught to four strong champions, decided in a tournament which consists of almost every able bodied man in Sephiconia. The four champions, consisting of two very strong warriors, a powerful healer and rouge, and a ancient and wise Sorcerer, had mastered the spell in no time, found the four orbs and perilously made it to the abode of Mephos himself, and sealed him away. They also placed an enchantment on the orbs, that should the hold on the god would ever be broken, they will scatter to the four winds, to keep out of reach of Mephos. In this century, a foolish rouge sorcerer from the continent of Sephiconia, one of the few who know how to counteract the spell of sealing had foolishly set Mephos free, with the hopes that Mephos could help him get revenge upon those who banished him from his former homeland. He was wrong, he was obliterated on the spot by Mephos, and now due to the many advancements to the tools of war such as Steel weaponry and armor and catapults, and the power that he had gained throughout his eternal slumber, the threat to Sephiconia has returned, and yet, it will be worse, and this time Mephos also seeks revenge, not only the domination of Marticonia.
