Sight So Rare
Those far will never see it;
They don't come close enough.
Those close might never see it;
They aren't trusted enough.
Those trusted rarely see it;
There is little reason for it to happen.
I'm one of the trusted few.
It is a sight I want to see everyday,
So everyday I give it a reason to appear.
In the end, I get no respect;
I'm only the dunce everyone laughs at.
I don't mind my reputation,
As long as I get to see your rare smile.
