MissingWhen the night has come
I find that I miss you
More and more
I feel like nothing can fill this void
That is in my heart
I go on searching for you
Every night and never finding you
Why is that
I need to see you every night
I want to see your smiling face
Every morning upon waking
I miss the arguments that we had
I miss the way you joked
The conversations we had are no more
The void in my heart at night
Follows me into the daylight
I miss everything that made you special to me
Nothing anyone says will make anything
Alright ever again
People tell me that it is time to move on
They do not know how I feel
They do not know of the void
No one can see that I am not whole
I wear this mask that no one sees through
I want to sleep knowing you will be here
Although I know you are here
I cannot see you
I need to see you everyday
I still miss you greatly and I always will.
