Chapter 1 - Rewritten
"Agggh!" Groaned Optimus Prime as he fell to his knees, unable to stand up.
"How does it feel Prime, to be weak and not able to do anything about it, hahahahaha." said Megatron, Optimus looked up at Megatron and said "No matter what happens, even if i do, i will stop you, no matter the cost!" said Optimus as he got up and hit Megatron with all the strength he had and Megatron fell to the other corner of the wreckage. Hod Rod then came and ran over to help Optimus Prime. "Prime, what happened?!" asked Hot Rod as he help his leader to his feet. "Megatron, he is over there." He pointed over to where Megatron was, but Megatron got to his feet and retreated along with his Decepticons.
"Hot Rod, i am damaged beyond repair, you must take over..." Optimus said weakly as he tried to get to his feet but nearly fell as Hot Rod held him up.
"No Optimus... its not too late..." Hot Rod tried to reassure Optimus, but failed.
"Hot Rod, it is... your turn to take over, the Autobots will need a new...leader." Optimus Prime then opened his chest and in his hands was the Matrix Of Leadership, he gave it to Hot Rod, who held it in his hands.
"I am not ready Optimus, i can't lead, i can't do it without you!" Hot Rod cried as he could not believe his heroic leader was dieing.
"You have to, for the sake of the Autobots, you must lead, you are ready, i believe in you..." That was Optimus's final sentence as he eyes glowed weakly, then they were grey, his body then turned grey.
"Optimus!" Hot Rod said as he sobbed as his leader was dead.
