You were always there. Always. Fighting for me, when I was too weak.
Even if it was to just impress me, Naruto. Or to show Naruto he was stronger, like Sasuke did. Or maybe it was an obsession, Lee. But what is important is that you tried.
And when I stood on that tree branch, yelling at Sasuke because he wasn't even trying, I didn't realise. Didn't realise what was actually happening. If I was there, I would have ran away. But you ran towards the enemy, that freaky Grass ninja. And you got that strange mark on your neck. I realise now, that I could never handle that. I'm not a stupid fangirl anymore, Sasuke. I actually care. And I didn't even try. Why not? Was it fear? Or was it just I hoped that you could do it yourself? I don't know.
Naruto: Sure you can be annoying sometimes, and sometimes even stupid. But your so brave, and your dream is to be Hokage. My dream is to get Sasuke to fall in love with me. Stupid.
You've been eaten by a snake, and you've been teased almost all your life. Why everyone hated you, I don't know. Your like those boys in movies, or really good cartoons. Your weak, but then you pull through and achieve your dream. You've shown me something I never saw before.
Alright, so what if you've got bushy eyebrows, you were a weird green suit, have a funny haircut, talk strangely, look up to your sensei like a god, obey a turtle - OK, I'm going overboard.
But Rock Lee, your so strong. I see you now, lying on the ground. You risked your life for me. I couldn't do that for Sasuke.
You've all been teaching me, to try hard, never give up and protect the people you care about.
