The next couple of days past and the new guy tom seem only to friendly. He made friends with some people mandy wasn't comfretable to hang around with. But they did anyway. Once of of Tom's new friends ask her to come to his house for private chat. Mandy turned him down but it didn't stop him from asking again and again.

"For the last time no!" mandy looked up at the boy"i will wouldn't be seem near the place uyou call a house even if i had a ten foot pole"

"oh come on don't pay hard to get" he smile wickedly"cause i can play hard" he got really close to mandy until she could feel him breathing. Mandy did the only thing she could. She kick him between the legs and wachted him fall.

"you ever get that close to me again and i promise you.. you'll be missing that spot" she walked away not looking back she hate those type of guy and wish they would leave her alone. On the bus Tom sat next to her. She talk to him about what happen and he lisen to as much as he wanted and mandy know it.

"Don't worry about him, i'll take care of him for you" Tom gave one of his wiched smiles that made mandy shivered

"Thanks Tom" mandy said looking out the window wachting the kids get off the bus."hey Tom"

"Yes" he said looking at her as thought she was going to ask him to do something he hated.

"Is your mom ok i haven't seen her since you guys moved in" mandy looked at him wondering if his mom was sick or something.

"oh, she fine. Thanks for asking. She just been really busy thats all" he said taking one of his school book out of his bag.

"ok, i was just asking" mandy said seeing him getting wrpped up in his book.The bus stop at their bus stop and they got out mandy made shour Tom didn't run into anything while he read and when she got to her house he put the book away.

"Later tom" mandy waved walking into her yard.

"yes, later.. much later" he said walking to his house. Mandy had a werid feeling about what he said. but she went inside anyway. Mandy cleaned the house then went up to her room she passed the bath room and stop. She thought she saw someone, so she turned around and saw onmly her own refextion in the mirrior.

"What.. oh i must have been seeing things" mandy said rubbing her eye's walking into her room. She fall onto her bed laing there soon falling asleep. Mandy tossed and turned in her sleep seeing the snak-like face of a man. His eyes seem to glow red, and his grin.. his grin looked like something she saw before. Mandy soon rolled out her own bed trying to runaway from the nightmare. Mandy slowly sat on her knee's when she heard something from down stair's. She got up and lisen to the door all she could hear was a man's voice hissing and then she felt something brush passed her foot she stood still. 'If it was a snake' she said to herself 'iam just going to cry'. she slowly looked at the ground seeing a snake curled up on her floor. She frooze looking back at the creator that sulithered in her room.

"don't panic, its just a harmless snake.. he's more afrid of you as you are of him" she kept her eye's on the snake as it hissed either at her.. or the man that she know was on the otherside of the door. She locked it and slowly went to her window opening it. The snake hissed louder and the door knob started moving. Mandy lumpt out the window and down the drain pipe and into the yard looking up at her window seeing the shadow of a man looking down at her with snak-like red eye's.
