Mark x Owen

I sit and watch Owen from afar

His large muscular body glistening in the sun

Bright smile shining through the dark mine

Happiness practically radiating off of him

Of all the people on the isle

Owen was the only one to truly believe in me

Ever since the beginning

He always knew I could do it

Never giving up

Everyone admires Owen

And I was no acceptation

But after a year or so I noticed

That is was more than admiration I felt

So I started watching him

Trying to figure out what the feeling was

This was all working fine

Until one day he saw me

He didn't seem upset: he just was confused

Asking me what I was doing

I had to think of something fast

So I grabbed the first thing in my bag

Holding it out in an offering

He took the item

A shining ear of corn

And his eyes watered up

And his face flustered red

As he hugged me tight agents his chest

So every day for the rest of that month

I went to see Owen

Corn in hand

And he welcomed me with open arms

Holding me close

Ruffling my hair

In the beginning of the next month

Owen met me up the path

Rosie cheeked, standing tall

Asking me to go to lunch

When I accepted he jumped up and down

Grabbing my shoulders, leaning to kiss me

And just as he kissed me

I saw Julius in the window

He looked really sad

But at that point in time

I really didn't care

As Owen's large body set mine ablaze
