Regina glares out of the corner of her eye as Emma fiddles with the radio in her car before stopping on some pop song. Emma's face lights up in recognition before obnoxiously singing along.

"I DONT CARE WHO YOU ARE

WHERE YOU'RE FROM

WHAT YOU DID

AS LONG AS YOU LOVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- OOOh OOOh Regina it's our song!"

Regina raises an eyebrow.

"No," she replies after a moment of silence.

Emma simply smirks and looks back toward the road.

"Totally is."

Sitting at the counter of Granny's diner, Regina absent mindedly stabs at the last few bites of her salad while looking over the most recent financial reports for the school. She's brought out of her trance by the sound of blaring music coming from right outside the diner.

EVERY LITTLE THING THAT YOU HAVE SAID AND DONE

FEELS LIKE IT'S DEEP WITHIN ME

DOESN'T REAL MATTER IF YOU'RE ON THE RUN

IT SEEMS LIKE WE'RE MEANT TO BE

"Mayor Mills, I think it's for you," Granny says with a playful grin.

Trying to desperately keep the look of confusion off her face, she stands and walks outside. Waiting for her holding an old boombox over her head, Emma grins with a playful look in her eyes.

"What do you think you're doing?!"

Emma chuckles and sets the boombox down turning it off.

"Regina, you have never been the Evil Queen to me. You have always just been Regina. I won't lie you pissed me off like no one ever had before when we first met but then I started to know the real you. Not the mayor, not Henry's mom. Just Regina. I fell in love with you and some how I got you to fall in love with me. For months now I've just been wanting to shout from the clock tower that I am completely and utterly in love with you but I figured you'd probably kill me if I did. I have NEVER felt this strongly about another person before and all day, every day, all I think about is coming home to you and our son. And now I want to make sure you know that it is all I will ever want."

Regina took in a shaky breath as Emma kneeled before her nervously grinning up at her.

"Regina Mills, mother of my son, my one true love, will you marry me?"

A single tear escaped without her permission as she continued to stare down at Emma in complete shock. After a minute she spoke.

"That's still not our song."

Emma grinned up at her.

"Is that a yes?" she chuckled nervously.

Regina pulled her up and kissed her soundly.

"Yes. Yes I will marry you, you idiot," Regina couldn't keep the smile of her face as Emma leaned in to kiss her once more.

** 5 months later **

The two newlyweds wrapped in each others arms, slowly twirled around the dance floor as a familiar song came on.

ALTHOUGH LONELINESS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FRIEND OF MINE

I'M LEAVING MY LIFE IN YOUR HANDS

"It's still not our song," Regina grumbled into Emma's neck as they continued to sway to the music. Emma just grins.

"Totally is."
