Lily and James Potter, were the proudest parents. Their son had done so much for the entire world. He was kind and brave, he always thought of others before himself, and even though he had to sacrifice so much in his young life he remained strong and happy. What more could parents ask for in a son? They should be ecstatic at his achievements, and they were, but there was always that underlying sadness, that darkened even the happiest moments. Lily and James Potter was forced to watch their young son face evil embodied without being able to protect him. A parents worse nightmare is to be unable to protect their child. So instead they watched him, never truly being able to enjoy the bliss that awaited them in heaven, always anxious and horrified that they may see their son again to soon, and sad to think they would have to wait so long to hold him again. Until their Harry joined them, they could never have a peaceful afterlife. Years went by and Harry became a target for evil and time, and time again he surpassed their expectations. They were so proud of how strong he was, but also sad that they would have to keep waiting to tell him that themselves. Friends started to arrive and the afterlife became more bareable. They could look away for a second now, but never for long. Soon their friends joined them staring down to earth and watching their son grow. They had waited so long. They had meet his friends and wife, his extra family and everyone who loved him, and finally it was time to meet him, to finally meet their beloved son, Harry. He arrived to a fanfare, all around him a crowd gathered to thank him for his love and sacrifice. The admirers eventually parted and allowed him to go to his family. He greeted his wife with a kiss, and his friends and family with hugs, but his parents, who had waited most anxiously now hid in the back scared of his reaction. Was this real? Could they really hold him again? Their little boy, who saved the world, and meant the world to them was here? Never to be taken from them again? The sea of people parted and revealed his face to them. He was fantastic, his eyes, hair, hands, and mouth everything about him was perfect. Lily ran towards her son and wrapped her arms around him and held on for dear life. She cried and held him trying to convey the love and pride she had in him. And he held her back telling her how much he loved and admired her. James watched with tears in his eyes for as long as he could stand and then he threw his arms around them both and for the first time ever he was able to hold his family close. His family was complete, and nothing had ever made him this happy. The onlookers watched with silent tears rolling down their faces, finally the Potter family would never be separated again. Everything was finally perfect in the afterlife.
