Chapter 1 prologue

I'm an icewing. I'm an icewing. These were the words my parents told me to be proud of. I had a bright future ahead. But it was ruined by my brother. Winter . Now I'm a

prisoner among my own tribe…..

Icicle , the daughter of Tundra and Narwhal. A heir to the throne . That she once was . Ever since Snowfall became Queen , Icicle had no right to the throne . No right to be in

the palace . Her name was the last one on the rankings. A place where she never imagined it would be . All thanks to Winter who found friends in Jade mountain academy….

Icicle's life had been perfect till she went to jade mountain . She was the excellent daughter of the Queen's brother. The niece of Queen Glacier . She was a brilliant hunter and

the ideal icewing . She knew her parents wanted her to try for the throne and was prepared for it . Icicle was talented and her skills at fighting were unique . She always looked

pristine and her white scales shone even after the deadliest of battles . But Icicle had grown up with a war raging across the continent and in a war , one was bound to hurt someone who hadn't harmed them in any way.

Such was the case of Sora . Icicle had killed a mudwing who happened to be related with the dragon she was supposed to share a cave with. Hadn't everyone killed dragons in

the war ? Why should this particular mudwing want vengeance ? But Icicle felt no remorse . She had done nothing wrong . The killing hadn't been personal . But Icicle wasn't going to forgive the mudwing who had tried to kill her.

Then came the affair of brothers . Icicle had a chance of saving Hailstorm. The long lost hero. Why should Winter interfere with that ? After all she was fixing his wrong . Just

because he fell in love with a random nightwing didn't mean she couldn't do icewing business . Well, she had just been doing what it took to save her brother . And then Winter

found another way to free Hailstorm, got himself supposedly killed , but actually ran away to join his friends and then freed and fought Darkstalker and was now in Sanctuary.

But Icicle had been convicted of killing one of Glory's subjects, arrested for attempted murder(by a bunch of stupid rainwings) and then had her name shifted to the bottom of

the rankings. At least Winter had been recognized by someone for his deeds ( even if it was by a group weird dragons from other tribes and not a true icewing ) . Icicle had

just been imprisoned on the way to trial. Things hadn't happened well for her and she was dreading what was going to happen next…
