" LUNA! COME ON! YOURE GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR DATE!" Cho screamed from the main Commons.
" Oh calm down you." I said softly to myself, before looking at myself in the mirror one last time before I took off. My dress fell down right above my knee, the blue lace was a floral pattern of a deep navy blue that complimented my eyes. Cho did my hair and make up completely finishing the entire look. Shoes! I start rummaging around for some form of shoes to wear and my eyes land on my new full black converse, she better not yell at me. Once I got my shoes on I ran down to the main Common room where Cho and some of her other friends were waiting.
" Wow you look amazing Luna." Raved Cho as she gave me a quick hug.
" Well you did help a lot, so thank you for that." I responded with a smile.
" Oh it's already 7, you should get going! Don't want to leave him waiting." Cho said practically pushing me out of the room. I quickly made my way down to the main entrance where I was going to meet him. I was quite excited besides he had been sending me letters almost all year, and I was dying to know who it was. Looking up at the clock I noticed that it was already 7:30 and I was quite scared that he wouldn't even show up. Oh that would be dreadful, getting all pampered for no reason.
The clock struck 8 and I was starting to lose all hope that they were coming at all. What if it was a Slytherin doing this for a joke and they were laughing at me. I couldn't help it I started crying, thankfully Cho didn't put any mascara on me or else I would look like a raccoon. This just wasn't at all fair. Why was it that I was always the main victim to everyone's joke and prank? What have I done to deserve all of this?
" Um…. Helloo? Anyone there?" Said a quivering voice from behind a column.
" Neville?" I asked as I stood up and walked into the main hallway.
" Oh hello Luna. Surprise?" He said shyly.
" You're quite late, I started thinking you weren't even going to come." I admitted with a sigh.
" Oh that's all entirely my fault, you see I um kind of got lost again." He admitted turning redder than a tomato.
" Oh it's quite alright Neville, I'm just glad you finally made it." I said smiling at him.
" Me too, you look just amazing." He said with a small smile.
" As do you, now lets go shall we?" I asked as I held out my hand. He took it and we set off. I had a feeling this was going to be the best night of my life.
