Her eyes were piercing, pitch-black.
Every part of her, dangerous, like broken glass.
People looked at her in envy with her obvious strength,
But no one noticed the scars,
The pain she's been through and is still going through,
The situations she miraculously survived.
No one saw that, and no one cared.
Everyone who knew and understood her saw her in admiration for the fear she never showed,
The courage she always had,
And the heart she never lost.
Never knowing if someone would catch her,
Yet prepared if they did.
She was never quick to judge and it took a long time for someone to earn her trust, much less her friendship.
But once they have it,
It is eternal, everlasting.
She will protect you from any danger.
She would walk into the hottest fire to help you.
She would willingly give her life to save a friend.
And they knew that.
They would use that against her,
Claiming it to be her biggest known weakness.
They will do anything to catch her.
They would use her power for themselves then murder her mercilessly.
That was their plan, that was their goal.
