Second in the many Bering and Wells fics I have found that I forgot I wrote. I really loved this one because it was short and packed a punch. If I remember right I think this is also where the idea for Happy Birthday Myka came from.

Her hair swirled around her in the wind like a black veil. (prompt)Helena's wails carried with it, adding to the howling. Everyone else had left long ago; only Claudia was left now, standing just far enough away to give Helena the space. Her eyes were on the marble plating that showed simply names and dates, and she tried to drown out the sounds that came from the grieving woman before her. She could hear nothing else as tears ran down the young woman's own eyes. She couldn't believe Myka hadn't told her, that Artie hadn't, that the Regents hadn't. Helena deserved to know, and Claudia hated to be the one to tell her.
