A/N: Written quite awhile ago for a friend. Gotta love Anatomy.
"Chloe?"
"Mmmm, yeah?"
Beca huffed when Chloe didn't even look up from her text book. "You've been studying for three hours," she said.
Chloe put highlighter to the page in front of her and drug the tip across the last two sentences she had read, "So," she answered absently
"So, we're supposed to be hanging out," Beca said , emphasizing the word hanging.
"Okay, isn't that what we're doing?" She finally glanced up from the book and pushed her glasses up on her nose. She couldn't even be cross with Beca now that she saw the pathetic look on her face. "Come here," she said and held a hand out. She swore sometimes it was like dating a child. She rejected that notion from the pile of possible ways not to creep herself out.
Beca ventured across the dorm room from her seat at the desk and clasped Chloe's hand, letting it pull her down to sit beside her on the bed. Chloe was stretched out on her stomach with the book on front of her. Beca adjusted herself so she was sitting even with her torso.
"Here, play with my hair and sing to me while I read about absorption of nutrients in the small intestine." She smiled and turned back to her place in the book.
"That's disgusting," Beca said, wrinkling her nose, "Thank god for the sexy lab coat and stethoscope or this med school thing would be a bust for me."
Chloe chuckled and flipped the page. "Glad it's all about you and not my future career aspirations." True to her request Beca's had undone her messy twist and was running fingers through her hair from scalp to tip. Chloe pushed up her glasses, making Beca smile in appreciation.
"Have I told you today how hot you look in your glasses?"
"Twice," Chloe said, sighing. She was used to fending off Beca's restlessness by now. It had taken her half of their year long relationship to come to peace with it. "But thank you."
"Are you sure it was twice..."
"Beca," Chloe looked up and over the glasses with a stern glare. "I have a test in two days and I have only half way memorized this chapter so I'm going to need you to be quiet," she sighed, feeling bad that she was scolding her girlfriend. "Take a nap, go for a walk, go get us some coffee... or not since you're already so wired." Her brow crinkled and she tried to back track. "I love having you here when I'm studying, it's nice to just be with you in the same room, but you're driving me crazy and I love you... like so much."
The worse were lost when her voice was muffled as Beca kissed her. With the movement of her lips against Beca's all thoughts of her anatomy book flew away, just to be replaced by a very different kind of anatomical thoughts. Beca's hand cupped her cheek and the other tangled in her hair.
She pulled back, breathless and watched a wicked grin spread across Beca's features. "I hate that you can do that to me," she said and then thought better, "Well, I love it but it's not fair sometimes." Beca had complete power over her when using the physical impact of her attraction.
"I'm sorry," Beca said, frowning. She knew exactly when Chloe was vulnerable to attack and she had taken advantage of the opportunity.
"No, you're not," Chloe said, throwing her book to the floor and starting to take her glasses off but Beca stopped her.
"No, keep them on," she said, pulling Chloe's hand away from the black frames and kissing her palm. "You look hot."
"That's four," Chloe said, before she was rolled onto her back and thoroughly taken advantage of, to her very vehement delight.
