Breakdown's heavy steps echoed through out the main control room as he entered. He continued to stare bluntly at Starscream's back as they came closer to the two bots inside.

Soundwave was slowly and eerily typing at a key board, the only greeting Breakdown got from him was a glance over a flat shoulder.

"Lord Megatron," Starscream announced. The silver and mauve tyrant didn't turn to look at him. "Breakdown has returned and would like forgiveness for his capture by mere humans." Breakdown finally looked up from the seeker's wings and suddenly found Megatron was staring at him. He couldn't quite place the look he was being given, he couldn't read people like Knock Out, but he could tell it wasn't a good thing.

"I... I'm sorry, lord Megatron, it... it won't happen again..." He muttered, hoping that's what the stare was for. A gun-metal grey servo reached forward and clasped his chin, yanking it upwards rather harshly for Megatron to see Breakdown more clearly.

His optic. That's what Megatron was staring at! His right optic was missing, as he'd failed to get it back from Bulkhead's companions.

Hm... Bulkhead...

"See that it doesn't," Megatron snorted after examining the gauge left where a golden optic had once been. "Wouldn't want you to lose anything else important." There was a strange tone to Megatron's voice, but again, Breakdown couldn't place it.

"Yes, sir." He said bitterly, then assumed he was free to go when the tyrant released his face and turned away. As he headed for the door, that deep voice echoed behind him.

"I also wouldn't want Knock Out to throw a fit again." Breakdown paused.

Slag...

He lumbered down the hallways to the medical lab, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Knock Out would be so pissed! If not because he'd gotten captured, then because he'd have to fix all the damage.

When he reached the med bay, he found a tarp hanging in the doorway. What the frag happened here?

I also wouldn't want Knock Out to throw a fit again.

… Oh scrap. He brushed the tarp away and took a few steps into the lab.

Knock Out looked up. Breakdown stared back. A staring competition was put forth without announcement, just how it had been when they first met, though Breakdown could stare with both optics at that point.

"... Hey." He grunted numbly. Knock Out blinked.

"... 'Hey'?" Breakdown was suddenly tackled to the ground, a pair of silver servos slamming on his chest to keep him pinned if he let them. That pretty, tear stained face was all of a sudden contorted with rage and relief. A rare sight indeed. "You got kidnapped by a bunch of humans who used you as a test subject, scare the slag out of me, make me think I'll never see you again, and all you can say is 'Hey'!" Energon blue tears dripped onto Breakdown's scarlet cheeks. "And to top it all off—!" He gasped for air. "You're missing one eye..." Silence. Save Knock Out's sobbing.

Breakdown sat up slightly, making Knock Out's hands slide down his chest, though one shot up to rub away some tears. The blue and silver mech reached up, running his thick fingers down the side of the delicate face plate.

"I love you so much... I can't afford to lose you..." Knock Out whimpered between gasps of air and heavy hiccups.

"... Yeah..." Breakdown blinked. "Me too... it won't happen again, so... please don't cry... I'm sorry." He slowly sat up, letting Knock Out slide into his lap and carefully wrapped his arms around his slender frame. The red medic pressed his face into Breakdown's chest and continued sobbing.
