In those eyes she held an ocean. A deep blue ocean that nobody else saw. I'm not daft. I know she was never a philosopher, a genius, or anything close. Openly. But she could be. She was smart, in her own way. She knew lots of things. She knew me. When no one else did, she knew me.
In those eyes he held his soul. Funny, isn't it? People always assumed he was nearly soulless, or that it was hidden away in the depths of him, when really, it was in his eyes all along. They had looked into his soul as many times as they had looked at him. In the eyes, of course.
In that smile she held a hundred smiles. Big, toothy smiles that you'd never see coming. Not from her. She held a cold face most of the time, or plastered on one of those stupid society-learned faux grins. But when she smiled, it was as though she wasn't even a Slytherin. Of course, she didn't smile often.
In that smile, or better so smirk, he held his pride. Malfoy-learned self pride. The kind of pride you grow up with. As you grow, it grows. But he really wasn't as arrogant and conceited as everyone thought. No, sometimes that smirk fell crooked.
In those eyes she loved me. I know she did. Even when they were filled with tears, they held a fire, a passion. I loved her eyes. I loved her. But her eyes are stone cold now. I've seen them in pictures.
In those eyes he loved me. He really did. His eyes would change when they met mine. Oh how I loved making eye contact, just to see that spark. I loved that glow and nobody else saw it. I loved him. He's gone now. I don't think he's coming back. And if he does, I'm sure the glow will be gone.
