Draco walked onto the dance floor just as the song "Safest Place to Hide" by backstreet Boys started to play. He smiled when he saw Harry and silently walked over to him. He placed a hand gently on Harry's elbow turning him. They bowed to each other then held one another's waists and Draco held Harry's other hand to his shoulder. He pulled him close and they moved slowly to the music. Draco's head rested into the crick of Harry's neck as he sighed and smiled content.
They stayed like this just slowly dancing till the music ended.
When the song was over Draco held Harry's hands and looked deep into his eyes. He smiled and just led him out the great hall as others continued to dance.
Once they were outside in the courtyard Draco sighed and smiled at Harry, then turned away looking up at the stars as he bit the pad of his thumb. It was a beautiful clear night; the stars were out and shining bright.
Draco let his had fall and bit his lip closing his eyes then turned to Harry.
"Why me?" he asked softly, his eyes slightly sad but hopeful.
"Because you saw me when I was invisible" harry said lovingly.
Draco gasped and bit his lip again closing his eyes as he looked to the floor.
He looked back up and held Harry's face in his hands, running a hand through his hair he pulled Harry's face close and kissed him. Slowly and deeply, trying to show Harry how much he loved him.
Harry kissed him back wrapping his arms round his back and hips.
Draco's head then came to rest on Harry's shoulder, his arms wrapped round Harry as Harry held him.
After five seconds of silence Draco begun to cry softly at first but then got louder and shock.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Harry asked brining Draco's face between his hands.
Draco looked Harry in the eyes as he cried.
"I don't want to loose you" he stammered.
"You won't Draco, I'm not leaving you" Harry said soothingly.
Draco clutched him close round the waist, his face in Harry's neck again.
"I've lost so many people, so many people I love and care about" he said muffled but still clearly crying.
"First my brother, then Albus, Severus and father. I can't loose you two. Everyone I love and care for I loose" he cried trembling.
"Your brother?" Harry asked confused.
"He died when he was ten" Draco said in small voice.
Harry's gave a soft gasped and clutched Draco close.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
Draco wiped his eyes and pulled slightly back but still in Harry's arms.
"No, let's just enjoy the evening" Draco said with a smile that showed he had reached his breaking point, for now.
He pulled Harry close again and rested his head on his shoulder. He cast a spell that made music play from no were.
As he started to move the song "Imagine Me without you" by Jaci Velasquez he heard Harry whisper;
"I love you Draco"
"I love you two Harry, forever" he said lovingly, in a quiet voice.
They both stood re rocking to the song as snow begun to fall, creating a fairytale atmosphere. And for once, this fairytale was true.
