The digidestined were heading home after a rough afternoon of removing control spires and were all happy to get home and have a nice rest.

" How many control spires was that today, Cody?" Their team leader asked stretching out.

The shortest member of the group answered," Thirteen."

The group gave a quick smile of triumph before drawing out there digivices to teleport back. First went Davis,( of course) then T.K., Kari, Cody and then Yolei .

When they all were back in the real world they said there good-byes and made their way back home. However, the violet haired destined made an excuse to go back to the school, saying she needed something from her locker.

Ounce she was sure they wee all gone, she went back to the computer lab and then the Digiworld.

She hadn't wanted to say anything to anyone that she had been feeling rather down this week. Not down so much, actually just tired. Her dreams had been keeping her up and she was very jumpy, cranky and she had to stop herself from being an extraordinary bitch.

So, if she couldn't get any sleep at home she would try to get some in the the digiworld.

Earlier when they were knocking down control spires she had spotted a nice little cave with no signs of animal activity.

It was a long way so to keep herself busy she'd walk and sing at the same time.

"Cherry ripe
Cherry ripe,

Ripe, ripe, ripe

Fools and fair ones
Come and buy"

As she walked she occasionally heard little sticks snapping behind her, but didn't pay much attention to it No, she just walked on singing that old tune her granny had taught her .

"Cherry ripe,
Cherry ripe

Ripe, ripe, ripe

Buy my red ones
Come and buy."

As she finished the song there was no nose and she turned to see why.

What she got was the sight of the digimon Kaiser.

"Hello, digidestined. Get lost on the way to grandma's house?"

She didn't answer the question, she just stared at him, trying to think of what she should do now.

Clearing her throat she said all that she could think of,

"What do you want?"

He made to get a step closer showing off a big pompous grin," What do I want? I want you out of here that's what."

She couldn't say anything or do any thing about what he wanted, but she knew she wanted to get as far away from him as possible.

"…Fine."

Without another word she bolted towards the cave and and out of his sight.

About five minutes later she had found the cave.

Just in time, too, because it had started to rain pretty bad. Entering the cave she caught her breath and found a nice dry spot to lay down on.

Wasting no more time she laid down on the dry area and tried to sleep as the thunder and lightning had started. She never liked thunder, but lightning wasn't so bad. If you're out of it's way.

So she watched the sky that she could see, but noticed there was something heading towards the cave.

It was the Kaiser again…
