There She Waits
A Sasusaku Fan-fiction:
Lightning flashed outside her window illuminating the village below her. As her jade eyes looked out Sakura would occasionally look to the woods to the west, nearest the village entrance gate. For six years she had been looking there, waiting for her friend to come home.
Every night she would look out her window for hours, hoping she would see him walking in. She knew it was ludicrous to think Sasuke would come back, but she had to. She couldn't live if she didn't.
Ever since Sasuke left the village Sakura was sent into depression. Though she acted fine around Naruto and her friends after time passed. She would only let her sadness show to her mentors Kakashi and Tsunade. To them she would show her tears and her scars.
Everyone had thought she had gotten over her childhood crush though she never had and probably never will. Not only did Sakura loose her crush, She lost a best friend.
Through the years they were genin she had created a special bond with Naruto and Sasuke. She learned to love her boys and thought of them as her brothers she could tell everything. After a while she had fallen in love with Sasuke, Until he left.
She swore she would be the one to bring him back. Though once he killed his brother and the villages' next hokage Danzo she had no choice but to kill him.
Once she had challenged him he had gotten to strong. So she retreated back to the village once more. Slowly he was sucked in by the dark and now followed Tobi in his rein to destroy the village and release the kyuubi. Now she sits and waits, looking out her window, hoping to see the Sasuke she knew once again.
