Snow was falling in large quantities. Christmas was near, and everyone was happy. Everyone except one person, that it. Said person was walking briskly towards her destination, a large building on outskirts of city, known to public as Tatsunagi corp.
She was twenty years old and she was going there because the owner of the corp proposed to her. He said it was a reward because her brother saved the planet.
The idea was to tie her and her brother to Tatsunagi corp so that he gets both protection and company and she gets satisfaction of him finally being happy and the fact that his happiness would last.
But happiness doesn't last forever, as Emi found out soon enough.
It turned out that Takuto, the owner of the corp, had a stalker. A really persistent stalker who was out to ruin their marriage so she could marry Takuto instead.
The stalker was called Maya and she had her own methods to ensure that their marriage fails.
To make things worse, Leon Souryuu, her brother's former enemy, returned to the city.
Emi knew he had changed his ways, but old grudges die hard.
She sighed. She now knew that not everything was as great as it seems on first sight.
Snow continued to fall, not knowing about any of the trials humans were facing.
Blood covered the snow next day. The blood of Leon Souryuu, struck down by Emi's hand.
For her, and for several other people, Christmas became a tragedy.
For Emi was now a murderer.
And snow was still falling silently.
