Shared Germs
From Melissa POV, well kind of
AN: I watched the sneak peak of tonight's episode of packed to the rafters on the rafters site, and immediately I thought that I just had to write a story about the whole Melissa, Ben, Carbo and Nathan toothbrush scene. Xxx Enjoy, Catharyn p.s its pretty much word from word of what happened in the sneak peak
Melissa awakens and goes into the bathroom to go and brush her teeth only to discover that her tooth brush is wet indicating that it been used recently
Melissa goes straight into her and bens bedroom and taps him on the shoulder
"Have you been using my tooth brush" Mel asks
"No" Ben replies
"Someone has, its wet" she adds
"Maybe someone used it accidentally" Ben suggested
"Ewww" states Mel states in disgust
"Is that so gross?" Ben asks
"If its Carbo yes" Melissa replies
Melissa has a sudden vision of Carbo using her toothbrush to brush down his chest hairs the sight is just too unimaginable and grosses her out completely
"Neat freak Nathan" Ben suggested
Melissa has another vision of Nathan scrubbing his trainers down with her toothbrush this leaves her further disgusted in thinking of what possibly could have happened to her toothbrush
"Yes" Melissa agrees
"What if it was me?" Ben asks
Melissa has yet another vision but this time it is of Ben using the toothbrush to brush down all the inside of his mouth and also of him shoving her toothbrush up his nostrils
"Was it?" she asked in an anxious tone of voice
"No look whoever it used it probably washed it afterwards so what's the big deal?" Ben states
"I might not be the tidiest person in the world but the last thing I feel like coming home to steeping in a half eaten carton of takeaway and…"
"So what am I meant to do" Ben interrupts
"…Then my husband doesn't even seem to care if someone has been spreading their germs all over my toothbrush "Melissa adds
"Alright, ok let's say it was me, my germs are your germs" Ben states as he quickly leans in and kisses Mel
"See" Ben adds
"Was it you?" She asks
"Absolutely" he replies in a cheeky tone of voice
"Are you for real?" Mel asks
"Yes I am" Ben replies
"It's just a toothbrush" Ben adds
Mel suddenly puts on a pounty face
"This is a share house these things are meant to happen" Ben states
"Exactly" Melissa replies
"We already have to share everything else in this place that toothbrush it mine "she adds
"Oh and by the way someone on the ward tonight had mad cow disease you happy to share those germs too" Mel states as she makes and exit
Ben wipes his mouth in disgust and thinks about the conversation that him and Melissa had just had
