AoD32: Hey everyone I finally got back into my account, After loosing my password information and boy have I missed it here. Thankfully I am back now and am able to start new fanfics. I'm going to be rewriting this here Inuyasha fanfic because I didn't like how I wrote it. I reread everything and found a bunch of mistakes and errors. I do hope all you who favorited it and followed will like the revamped version. Also Sesshomaru is going to be viewed as Rin's father because it's just adorable that way haha. Oh and Sesshy may be a little Ooc in some chapters :) Hope you all enjoy~ Warnings- Language, Violence, Gore and a very pissed off Sesshomaru Disclaimer- The only character I own is well my own xD All rights belong to the original creator of the anime/manga :)
Inzu had been walking around aimlessly through the forest in search of food she had just got through killing some really annoying demons who kept pestering her about the sacred jewel shards which she clearly had no use for. The demons had grew rather angry and tried to kill her only ending up to be killed themselves. Served them right though trying to pick a fight with the black Wolf. "There has got to be some food around here somewhere hell I'd even settle for some fish." She continued on her path hoping to run into a river of some sort where she could rest and finally eat.
Just then the smell of cooked fish assaulted her nose making her mouth water and her stomach growl with joy. Picking up the pace she followed the smell to a small clearing only to see that there were two demons and a small human child there. "Well crap, There goes my lunch." Inzu spoke aloud ducking behind a tree in hopes of not getting caught.
Sesshomaru stood looking in the direction of where Inzu had been hiding. "Rin, I want you to stay put." He simply stated. Inzu could hear the footsteps getting closer. "Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit, I'm dead I'm so totally dead." She thought trying to get away. But the older demon proved to be too quick. And was in front of her in seconds. Inzu was frozen in her tracks. "Why are you here?" A voice so cold asked while amber colored eyes glared down at her. "I was only hunting for food, When I caught whiff of your fishes scent. I mean no harm." She gulped down the lump in her throat. Praying that this demon wouldn't kill her.
She stood her ground not wanting this demon to think her scared. "Tell me your name, Demon." He demanded the tone in his voice never changing. "I am Inzu, Most know me as the Black Fox. And you must be the great Lord Sesshomaru." It took her a full minute to finally realize just who this demon was. Stories were told to her about this demon. The demon who struck fear into anyone who crossed his path. One who showed mercy to no one. "You know me, Yet you aren't afraid?" Sesshomaru almost sounded surprised at the idea. Normally demons would run and scream yet this one. Seemed to show no fear at all. "I show fear, To no demons." Inzu stared the demon lord in the eyes. Until the grumbling in her stomach ruined the moment. Now she just looked plain embarrassed.
Sesshomaru had started walking back towards his companions. "Jaken, Give this demon some food." He spoke as he took his place back under the tree he was sitting at. Inzu quickly made her way over and sat next to the little human. "Mi Lord, Are you sure you want to give our food to this stranger?" The little green imp questioned. "Just do it, Jaken." Was all that needed to be said. Before the imp brought Inzu over a couple of fish. "You're lucky, Mi Lord didn't kill you. Worthless demon." He spat obviously angry about Inzu's presence. She merely laughed at the imp's little insult. "Thank you, Lord Sesshomaru." Inzu bowed her head at the Lord and completely ignored Jaken all together.
Once Inzu had finished her meal she stood. "Well, That was delicious. I thank you again Lord Sesshomaru. I shall take my leave now." Bowing once more she took off. "That sure was interesting, Time to get back home I suppose." Inzu spoke making her way back through the forest. She must've been the first demon to have met Sesshomaru and lived. Strange how he didn't kill her though.
After waiting an extra hour Sesshomaru decided it was time to leave. "Rin, Jaken let's go." Rin gave him a smile as Au-Uhn gently lifted her onto it's back. "Mi Lord, Who was that girl?" She asked curiously. "She was no one, Just forget about her." His voice was ever so calm whenever he spoke to her. This child that he somehow found himself caring for. He hated all humans found them weak and useless. But this girl had a strange effect on him. Back when she first saw him laying against a tree. She was beaten and bruised. Still she found the will to smile despite him trying to scare her off. Then he had found her dead on the forest path killed by wolves. He didn't know what compelled him to bring her back but he had done so without a thought. Ever since he's been like her father. Protecting her whenever she was in danger. Coming to her whenever she called out to him. He had come to love the small child. That he knew for a fact.
An image of the fox demon, Then played through his mind. Could their meeting have been coincidental or perhaps it was something more. He knew well that Rin needed a woman figure in her life. Especially when he wasn't around. Sure there was Jaken but he could hardly protect himself. Without having to ask for his master's help. "Maybe, I should seek this Inzu out. I could very well force her to watch Rin, As I won't be around that often. And it would be a good change for her as well." With that thought running through his head. The demon lord would seek Inzu out and ask her to travel with them. For Rin's sake.
