I know this is really cheesy and silly (and poorly written now that we mention it) Still I am so excited to get a story written! I love writing and I am so ready to get this done and uploaded! There are legitmate fanfics that I want to write, but this is something a little bit more personal. So, please tell me what you think I did well, what I did terribly, and anything you thought was just fun! most importantly please in my first story ever!

Hearts With Room 4 Love

Alex spun on his heel and slowly walked out of the church building. Coffee in hand, backpack slung over his shoulder. He had always loved this church the building had served as his second house, and the people had been his family. Recently he had felt a pull at the very core of his being. Alex was growing more and more distant from his church family. Don't misunderstand him he was still a believer, and a strong one, but he was lonely. Extremely so in fact. As Alex marched up the steps to the second floor he could still hear them singing in the main building. The entire congregation sounded so cheerful and happy together. Together. Each of their voices joined together in joyful noise. Once again Alex felt the faint sting deep in his soul. After all, he had grown up with these people, but recently he had felt himself drifting. Struggle as he may he can't quite place why it was happening, but he couldn't shake the feeling that it was his fault. That he was a bad friend. That his inability to socialize was making him unwelcome and unloved. That was why he felt alienated and pushed away from the youth group THAT was why he felt pushed out. Shaking his head he sipped his coffee and tried to focus on something else. Alex couldn't help, but giggle a little at how simply awful it is. The coffee here at Worship In The Foothills always was either too weak or too strong. No matter what Alex did to it coffee here had simply always tasted awful. As he had gotten older he had started taking his coffee black and that had not improved the taste at all. Still, he enjoyed drinking it, and Alex had grown to enjoy being alone too. Often he would wish that he had someone to be around. Someone that he could hold and maybe that would help to take his edge away. Quietly that thought faded from his mind, and loneliness burned its way into his thoughts

"Whatever he muttered" and unlocked the door. Long ago he had tossed the idea of finding someone to be with. He had no social skills and nothing really to make him stand out from his current crowd. Sure he could find someone in college, but simply put he just wasn't good enough for anyone.

"why am I letting this come from?" Alex muttered to himself. He shrugged and pushed the door open. Room 4 was one of Alex's personal favorite. It was almost always dark and had comfy couches piled against the room. Most importantly of all, it was almost always empty. Once again Alex had Room 4 all to himself. With a deep sigh, he dropped his pack and set his coffee down. Last month he had actually stashed a handful of snacks in the cupboards. Grabbing a sleeve of Oreos he plopped down on the couch and stretched out on the worn couch, almost purring. Up here in the quiet that feeling of loneliness struck him again. That horrible empty feeling deep in the pit of his stomach. Chopping down on an Oreo he ignored that feeling and pulled out his phone. Times like this he liked to simply pull out his music and just turn the world off. Soothing beats started coming in, and Alex started to doze away. Between work and school Alex actually stayed fairly busy so he relished any chance that he could get simply to decompress and unwind. Sunday's are supposed to be God's day, but he couldn't help but rest a bit. Alex had just barely closed his eyes when the door slowly creaked open. He sat up suddenly and saw that his friend Kayley had decided to sneak up here as well. Kayley went to a different high school and regardless Alex had already graduated. Even with those things they had always been fairly close friends. The pair hardly saw each outside of the church, but they had actually spent many years dodging out of church together. Many years ago winter rains had come in, and the pair had found this room, and many other winters and summers have come and gone since then. The Pair had literally spent years coming up to Room 4. They still came up to hide. It was still their spot...

"Oh god you scared me," Kayley said jumping a little.

"Excuse me for being in my spot" Alex laughed, rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, you should be sorry" Kayley sassed back lightly. "you should know better than to startle me!" She said dashing over and whapped him lightly in the gut.

"Owwww" Alex moaned "that really hurrttt"

"Oh suck it up sunshine" she snorted walking to the cupboard herself. "I don't hit that hard. Or else everyone would be scared of me"

"Everyone IS scared of you Kay" Alex replied giggling lightly. As she stood up on her tiptoes and rummaged around for her own snacks Alex couldn't help but rake his eyes up and down her slender form. Today she was wearing black leggings that hugged her curves perfectly. Alex often tried to not look. He tried SO HARD to not look at her perfect, and stunning body. He tried to stop his mind from drifting...

"...Hmph, well they should be..." Kayley sassed snapping Alex out of his daydream.

"Oh well, they certainly are" He laughed lounging back on the couch with a big stretch "so how did finals go?"

"Eh, they went okay" Kayley replied coming over and sitting on the sofa next to him "My mind wasn't really in it last week, but as usual I just kinda bullshit my way through it" She shrugged. Alex studied the back of her head, he looked at her slumped shoulders. As he watched she freed her thick, curly hair out its bun and let it fall around her shoulders. Kayley turned around and smiled at him. "So it really wasn't anything too out of the ordinary then! Everything is perfect!" Alex had spent enough time with her to see that even though her face was smiling her eyes certainly weren't sharing in that joy.

"Is that so? Alex said softly. Slowly the smile faded away from her face.

"Okay not everything is PERFECT per se, but everything is fine."

"You sure?"

Kayley went dead silent for a moment and picked open her box of sour patch kids.

"Clay dumped me," She said flatly

"You are kidding me right?..." Alex said prodding her gently with his knee. "Who would be mad enough to break up with hun?"

"Clay apparently"

"Okay... Well, then he is going on the list!" Alex declared loudly

"SHHH," Kayley said pressing her finger to his lips, rolling her eyes. "He is not going on your list..."

"OH I BEG TO DIFFER," Alex said pulling his phone out of his

"Stop it," Kayley said giggling half-heartedly, grabbing his phone from his hand, "it is not really needed this time." Alex propped himself up and pulled Kayley into a hug

"The list is getting too long" She whispered clutching the phone. "Adding Clay would just check off another failure in my life...So perhaps let's just say maybe not this time?" Kayley's tone usually held such fire, such spunky energy. An energy that seemed like it could burn a hole right through the whole damn world, but now it seemed to be fading away. Last several months had been really hard on her. An injury had kept her off the basketball team, and then the team had really fallen apart. On top of that Kayley had fallen into several social pitfalls at school. Several break-ups and actually a couple fights. Alex had actually thought it was quite funny that anyone was willing to pick a fight against Kayley. She might be short, but Kayley was incredibly feisty. Still, the year had taken a toll on her, and Alex knew her well enough to know that it was really wearing her down. Soon Christmas break would be here, and Alex hoped that she would be able to recharge a bit.

"Maybe there is just something is just wrong with me!" She exclaimed "Maybe Clay and the rest of them had the right idea when they left me" Kayley got really quite and nibbled on a sour patch kid.

"the list exists for a reason love" Alex reminded her gently, Squeezing her shoulders firmly "The list exists to remind you that there is nothing wrong with you sweetheart"

"Oh there are definitely things wrong with me" She snorted

"Hahaha okay fair there some things are wrong with you" Alex replied rolling his eyes "What I mean is that those douches are crazy for dumping you, even though you may have flaws, but even with those flaws you have many great things too. You have such a passion for life, you are sporty, energetic, mean at times, but ultimately sweet. You always have been great to me, plus you are incredibly hot, Like way hotter than all the girls that I have been with. Like WAYYYYY HOTTER" (I love everything about you so bad it hurts) Alex had to fight down his words, and it took all of his willpower to not finish that thought out loud. For the last year or so Alex had to really try and keep things deep down where they would never see the light of day.

"I am pretty damn hot" Kayley muttered

"So damn hot" Alex grinned putting a had on her knee. "Like next to you I like a dead cat"

"Oh hey stop that" Kayley shot back smacking Alex on the back of the head.

"Oh right right I'm sorry we are talking about you my bad"

"Woah no you aren't getting out of this that easy you dork!"

"I feel like I am going to"

"NOOO, you aren't. This comes up way too much! You aren't that bad looking yourself."

"Okay okay fine we will be right back to our previously scheduled topics in one second. You are totally wrong for the record. I am fat for one"

"Better for cuddling" Kayley fired back pushing him on his back gently

"Can I please not do this?" Alex pleaded

"YOU brought it up" She shot back lying down next to him.

"I only brought it up to use as an EXAMPLE, not as bait for compliments you silly goose," He said kissing the back of her head, relishing the gorgeous smell of her hair. Alex wasn't aware, but Kayley herself had been developing serious feelings herself, she felt that she could never tell him. Every time they spent time together Kayley could feel herself falling even harder, but every time she grew more terrified of making things fall apart. Sometimes it felt like it was just the two of them against the world. Slowly Alex wrapped his hands around her mid-section and pulled her tight

"Now that isn't something friends do?" She thought to herself desperately. I mean it was something she and some of her girlfriends did, but never guy friends...

"You never said why Clay dumped you," Alex said quietly interrupting her train of thought. Kayley snuggled closer to and thought for a second before answering.

"I mean I wasn't putting out enough I suppose," She said quietly. Alex didn't say anything but Kayley knew him well enough to know that just that sentence alone made Alex's blood boil." I mean I would send him sexy snaps, and you know me, I was plenty flirty, but I suppose that he wanted more than just to make out. I suppose that First and Second Base just aren't as cool to talk about in the locker room"

"Oh please, he is the backup quarterback," Alex said snarkily "He is basically the main string quarterback's number one lackey" Kayley giggled to herself. Moments like this were her favorite. They were simple, effortless, and calming. Kayley was acutely aware of the rise and fall of his chest against her.

"As if anyone would listen to his stories" Alex scoffed

"Yeah true, but Syndey definitely listened it seems. I caught them fucking in the girl's bathroom."

"Oh I'm sorry Kay, that's terrible" Alex whispered in her ear

"It's okay. I mean I knew what kinda guy he was before I started hooking up with him."

"Still, you deserve better," He said kissing her neck softly. "Even a total douché like him should know how to treat a princess like you. That is all I am saying..."

"You are so sweet" Kayley whispered turning to look at his face. "I wish that I could find a guy like you."

"Ohhhh no that isn't possible I am afraid. Only girls that are going to crush my soul and break my heart are allowed to be with me" Alex laughed

(That damn laugh)

"I am going to die a virgin remember? Alone and sad" He said still laughing

Now at his point, Kayley was painfully aware that their faces were mere inches apart from each other.

"Maybe you don't have..." Kayley said leaning forward and kissing him hard. For one terrifying moment she felt Alex tense up under her. That one moment of daring seemed to stretch on forever. Then it passed. Then she felt Alex start to kiss her back and then every fear she had been harboring melted away from her heart.

"What are we doing? Alex said breathlessly.

"Well we were kissing, but it appears that isn't happening now," Kayley said. Alex saw something in her eyes that he had never seen before. Uncertainty. She sat up on her knees and ran a nervous hand through her hair, (that damn hair. Alex LOVED that hair. Its thick beautiful locks were always irresistible. Everything about her was irresistible. Gorgeous. Sexy.

"Yeah I had noticed that, but why exactly?"

"Gaaahhh I don't know!" Kayley said resting her head in her hands." Can I tell you something?"

"Anything" Alex said softly

"I have kinda had a crush on you for years, all these other guys just keep making me crazier about you." She got really quiet, staring at the floor. "You are always there for me, and you always care for me. Sometimes it feels like we are already together. Sometimes it feels like... feels like..." She slowly went silent and got very intent on her shoes.

"Like it is just me and you against the world?" Alex finished quietly, slowly resting his hand on her thigh. "Like feeling totally alone, but also like no matter what we got each other?"

"Yeah, something like that" Kayley said turning to fix her eyes on his. "You know that, if you want, you don't have to die a virgin... I could help you out with that"

"What do you me-" Alex started, but Kayley cut him off by kissing him and pressing up against him. With one hand she pushed Alex onto his back and climbed on top of him.

"Wait have you done this before?" Alex asked softly

"No," she said breathlessly. Alex said sat up and kissed her neck

"I am slightly worried about not being able to do, umm stuff, right." Kayley giggled softly into his neck, and kissed him on his cheek

"Don't worry, I think I can help show you around the female body" She said cheekily. As she spoke she slowly pulled her shirt up and over her head

"Wow," Alex said breathlessly causing Kayley to giggle even more. "You look incredible. Now I wish I wasn't so fat" The blush on Alex's face caused Kayley to burst into laughter.

"Just because you don't look like The Rock, doesn't mean that you aren't sexy," she said. Alex blushed and nodded

"Okay, yeah..." Kayley could see the hesitation on his face, and slowly she reached down to caress his face.

"You trust me right?" she whispered

"Of course I do," He said softly.

"What are you waiting for then soldier?" Alex laughed deeply.

"Okay. Okay. I suppose the only question is did you lock the door?" Kayley laughed and nodded, kissing him deeply. Alex lifted Kayley up and lifted her onto her back, as she wrapped her legs around his back. They separated and, Kayley pulled his shirt over his head. Not wanting to waste any more precious moments Alex immediately went back to kissing her neck, hands on her waist.

"Yeah I am not going to lie, I have no idea how to undo one of these" Alex said nervously. Kayley laughed

"That's okay," She said " I have a few years of practice so let me take care of that. If Alex had been blown away before then he was simply speechless now. The sight of Kayley, his Kayley, half-naked in front of him simply took his breath away. She had chosen him to not only trust but to bare herself. She was open and raw in front of him. Him.

"That is a good reaction I think," Kayley said.

"It is very good" He answered. Her smile and the blush on her tan cheeks stirred this powerful twisty feeling deep in the pit of his stomach. Nothing he had ever done before had come close to this feeling, and he could tell by the fire in her eyes that this was new to her too, and she loved it. Kayley worked her leggings off and Alex shifted to allow her to kick them off. Alex pushed himself and started rummaging in his pack. While he was snatching the condoms Kayley slipped of her black panties leaving her completely naked beside him. If Alex had been speechless before his mind simply evaporated this time. All of the thoughts in his mind left and were replaced with pure animal instincts. He felt, the need to cherish, and love. Alex felt a burning hunger restrained inside him.

"To think we laughed when the guys at work gave you those" Kayley smiled

"Jokes on them I suppose," He said. Quickly he undid his belt and took off his jeans. Hands shaking he put on the rubber and lay back on top of her. He was shaking and as he held her hand Alex could feel that she was shaking too. As he kissed her neck he could feel his pulse going a mile a minute.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked breathlessly. Kayley nodded deliberately

"Yeah I have never been so sure about something" She replied in a low voice. Kissing her passionately, Alex drove their hips together causing Kayley to moan out in pleasure. Their bodies twisted together into one flesh, moving perfectly in sync with each other. Alex had never experienced this level of ONENESS before. His entire life Alex had struggled to feel like he belonged struggled to feel like anyone actually cared or needed him. At this moment he felt complete. The raw passion and energy of the whole affair brought life into his broken soul. With each impassioned moan, Kayley helped to piece his broken soul back together. Alex couldn't help, but to let out a little laugh.

"what's so funny you weirdo," She said through heavy breaths.

"It's nothing," He said, pecking little kisses on her neck, "It just seems funny that I have spent so much time with you and trying to find my place, and I never noticed that those two things weren't separate at all. YOU are that place" Alex trailed off.

"That is so, so SWEET," Kayley said "That is a beautiful sentiment Alex it really is, and I couldn't agree more, an- UGHHH" Her moans interrupted herself midsentence" It is very sweet, but right now less talking and more sex please"

"Well since you said please" Alex smirked. Afterward, neither of them were exactly sure how long they spent together. It could have been hours or simply minutes however long they spent intertwined, but it was pure bliss. With one last powerful movement, they both orgasmed together. After a moment Alex's elbow started to shake and he collapsed on Kayley.

"That was..."

"Incredible?" She offered.

"Yeah, that would best describe that" He chuckled softly. With a big grunt of effort, he picked up Kayley and lay down on his back, resting her warm body on top of his. For a moment they just sat there, legs intertwined, hearts beating as one. Alex slowly traced small circles on Kayley's back. After the heat of their pure passion before her skin still felt blisteringly hot to his touch.

"I love you," Alex said

"I love you too," Kayley replyed.
