fanfic about InuYasha! Eeek! Just read!

"Inuyasha, can we please stop now?! I'm hungry and my feet are tired!" complained
Shippou. The gang have been searching endlessly for several days now, ever since news
from the villagers arose that a demon by the form of an ape was said to be the cause of
hundreds of deaths and souls were running around free.
'Naraku,' Inuyasha thought, 'It has to be him. After causing so much pain and havoc to
Kikyo and I, he still has the nerve to hurt even more innocent people?! Feh. I'll avenge her
death..sooner than he thinks.'
A stinging pain forced it's way into his heart as he thought about his past. He winces,
remembering Kikyo's words.
"Inuyasha!! Why did you betray me?! Why?!"
I never betrayed you..It wasn't me..
"I died hating you! My soul can never remove from that spot!"
You may hate me..But I've never stopped thinking about you.
"You must disgust me, Inuyasha. Here I am, made of earth and mud, collecting dead souls-"
"Inuyasha, I agree with Shippou. Lady Kagome also seems to be tired out as well. We
should stop," said Miroku, shattering Inuyasha's thoughts. Everyone except Inuyasha looked
in Kagome's direction. Her face was blank and showed little expression.
Kagome sighed deeply. 'He's always like this. Everytime news about Kikyo or anything
that might have to do with Kikyo comes up, he starts acting up and thinks only about
himself. .I'll just let him have his way this time,' Kagome said to herself, 'Besides, I'm
tired out too.'
After deciding, she spoke back. "Ok everyone, let's just rest and eat right now." She
turned to Inuyasha. "We'll catch up with you later Inuyasha, since you're not hungry or
tired.and you want to look for Kikyo," she added as a side- note.
Inuyasha looked back at the girl who was now pouring a cup of tea to drink.
"What makes you think I'm looking for Kikyo?! It's Naraku we're all searching for!"
Inuyasha exclaimed, getting defensive.
"Actually Inuyasha, we're searching for Naraku but you are searching for Kikyo," said a monk.
"That explains it. No wonder he hasn't been himself lately," Sango points out.
"And why he hasn't been eating or sleeping!" Shippou cried out.
"Tell us, Inuyasha. What have you been thinking in that canine mind of yours?"
"W-wha..?"
"And why have you been so quiet? Usually, you're so rude and ignorant I can't stand it!"
"HEY!"
"And you haven't knocked me in the head once at all!"
"Why, you little--"
Kagome sweatdrops. "Miroku, Sango, Shippou..Let's just get off his tail today, ok? We
can sit right here and-"
A noise sounding like a boom made Kagome stop. Apparently, she said the one word she
shouldn't have said at a time like this..well, maybe. He deserved it anyway.
"Feh," said Inuyasha, faced down on the ground.
