He wraps his arms around her waist and responds to her protests by drawing her closer. She sees that he isn't giving up and gives in, slipping her arms around his neck and burying her face in his collar bone.
They sway to the music.
This is the closest they've been in a long time, and it's nice. They spend so much time dancing around each other; it's a relief to dance together.
Warm fingers stroke the back of her neck; she looks up at him. Their eyes meet.
The song ends.
They release each other.
