Dear possible future companions;

Have you ever wanted to feel the earth rotate? It's amazing don't you think? How the earth is wildly spinning constantly, with the planets and the sun and the moon circling around it and we are all standing fine. It was a dream of mine, to feel the earth spin, to feel it moving, beneath my feet. I used to imagine it would be like walking on sand, with the tiny grains dancing through my toes.

Have you ever wanted to be on a different planet? Maybe the grass is pink? And the men are 100 feet tall. What if they chewed water? Or drank meat? To be somewhere completely new, with barely any guidance, it would be like the first day of high school. Actually, scrap that, that analogy doesn't make anything appealing. But it would be the complete mysterious and unknown. Yu could reinvent yourself, even for only an hour you could be anyone, because for once there's no one there to hold you back. How's that for appealing?

Have you ever wanted to go in a space ship? imagine gliding erratically, flowing through the stars being able to look through the peek hole window and see earth, so small but so perfectly artistic, the colours of the ocean and land melting more together with each second of distance put between you and the globe.

It has always been a fascination of mine, the outer space, the unknown. I would lie for hours in my garden gazing in to the gleams of the stars and just imagine how it would feel to get away from the general format of humans, and the painfully boring earth.

Then suddenly it happened, it was initially different from any dream I had, I sat on pink grass, I saw the colours of our world, I felt the earth rotate. But instead of being inside a flashy silver rocket .. I was in a box. A call box. With a Doctor. It happened suddenly to me, it will happen suddenly to you.

I learned quickly that danger is what attracts the doctor, that's how he found me. The memory has become more blurred in recent years. I'm reasonably clueless about what was happening, I just know my ears were clouded with the sounds of screams, and my eyes blinded by fire. And then this stereotypical tall handsome stranger grabbed my hand and said "run."

If your to the point of reading this you would have had that meeting, maybe he crashed in your garden, ruined your wedding day, or blew up your work place, you have just met the doctor, and I can promise you this, your life will now me incredible, more than story books could possible imagine. I know I mentioned danger, but the Doctor is more reliable than the chance of the sun rising.

I hope you the best with your travels, you will not regret it.

Look after The Doctor he will never admit it, but it gets lonely in the wide open space.

Wishing you the best, Sarah jane x
