A/N: I was reading Divachick86's fiction You can let go now, Daddy and I couldnt help but write this poem for FannyIt seems like yesterday that you were teaching me
how to ride my bike, you always were there
We occasionaly on opposite ends of battles
but you still loved me for who I was
Now I am grown up and you have left
I will be strong for you as I always have
I am your daughter and I still love you
You taught me so much, things that I can
teach my own when the times comes
I remember you telling him that you would
never let him harm me because I meant the world to you
He promised you that he will always love me
You never shaved your mustache because I loved it
I watched as you slipped from this life the same way
you watched me come into this life
You maybe gone but I still love you Daddy
You would always be there when I had nightmares
You were always there when I was sick
In my teen years you sat up listening to my problems
and woes, You were always there when I needed you
I am your little girl, I will always love you Daddy
You will always be my Daddy now and forever
and I? I will always be your little girl laughing on
the swings, crying when I scrape my knees, hugging you
on Father's day, talking to you about my day at school
You were my greatest hero and I hope that when we meet
agian that we can talk just like we used to
Then maybe we can go out for Ice Cream like we used to
when I got a good grade on my tests
You will always be my hero, my father and my mentor,
and I will always be that little girl you love so much
No matter how much time passes you will alway be my Daddy
and I will always be your little girl now and forever
