Loki's reaction to Thor being banished: Movieverse. I OWN NOTHING! *************************************************

The cool breeze blowing over Asgard, ruffled Loki's hair and sent chills down his spine. It was midnight, or close to it. Loki didn't know nor care how long he had been standing there, on the balcony. Wisps of magic energy danced around his fingers, making patterns in the thick darkness. When they were children, Thor used to be amazed at the tendrils of light that did his brothers bidding. Thor. Where was he now? Loki missed him more than he ever thought was possible. He hadn't meant for Thor to go all the way to attack the frost giants and their king. He hadn't meant for him to be banished. Again, he saw Odin throw him into the Bifrost, and vanish into nothing. Loki knew he was being sent to Midgard, but he didn't know if his brother was alive or severely injured. He doubted it. Odin would never let anything happen to his beloved son. But still, Loki still worried, Thor's powers were stripped from him and Loki wondered if he was strong enough to protect himself. He couldn't take it anymore. Turning from the balcony, he ran down the halls of the palace, and without realizing it his feet ran down the familiar path to Thor's chambers. The door stood slightly agar, and Loki pushed into it and walked slowly into the room. His brother's presence in the rom still lingered, along with the clothes he hadn't bothered to put away. Loki smiled softly. Thor left one of his large red capes on top of his bed. Without really thinking about it, Loki walked over and sat softly on the bed, as not to disturb anything. His fingers unconsciously stretched out and rubbed the soft fabric. Loki slowly pressed his face into the folds and breathed deeply. Thor's scent was there, as comforting as always. It reminded him of when they were younger; Loki would spend the night in here with Thor and escaped the nightmares that often plagued his sleep. Thor was the only one in his "family" that showed him any care or affection. And now he was gone. Unable to suppress his tears any longer, Loki let them fall. He cried softly, until he could no longer stay awake, and he fell asleep surrounded by the memory of his beloved brother.

Far away, on Midgard, Thor looked up at the sky and hoped his brother was still there waiting for him.
