As the planet was bombarded by the Alliance, Dr. Rush and the newcomer tried to dial the Stargate on Icarus Base. They were trying to dial Earth to evacuate the military and civilian scientists on the base. As the gate chevrons locked into place, a deep sigh was let out. The secret of the 9th Chevron was still safe and these Humans or Tau'ri would not make contact with THAT gate. But then the gate immediately started to overload so the dialing sequence was stopped.
The newcomer told Dr. Rush to change the order of the chevrons. And before she could step in and offer a different solution, the gate was dialing…and to the one address that had been hidden for millennia… Destiny.
