I actually wrote this story yesterday but I was too tired to post it. But here is a new story from me. This is a sequel to A Surprise for You. I thought it would be cute to write a story where Kid gives something for Patty too. I apologize if the story seems rushed but I hope you will enjoy it anyway.
There she is. Kid thought when he saw her. Patty have yet to notice him, she was in her own thoughts; a happy smile on her face as usual. Kid looked away from her and focused his gaze on the gift in his hands.
It had been a week since he got flowers from Patty. A week since he got a kiss on the nose on the same day. Kid blushed lightly as he recalled the memory, a warm feeling rising inside him. Nothing had changed since that day. Everything was still the same between them. Was Patty just doing this as a friendly gesture or was there something more than just that?
Remembering the kiss, Kid liked to believe that it was the second option. But when it comes to someone like Patty, who knows?
Kid stared at the flowers in his hands. They weren't extravagant but they are still pretty enough. He can't help but feeling nervous. He's going to give them to her. What will she think of them? For a second, he considered leaving before Patty sees him but decided against it. He shook his head. No, he can't just leave. He won't chicken out. No matter how nervous he will get, he will give them to her.
He took a deep breath and exhaled before he slowly approached the blonde girl, who is still oblivious to his presence. He stopped when he got close enough. Kid reached his hand out and poked her lightly on her shoulder, hiding the flowers behind his back before she could see them. Patty felt the poke and turned around, smiling when she saw Kid. "Oh, hi Kid." She greeted him.
"Hi." Kid gave her a small greeting. "Patty, there is something I think you should have."
Patty looked curiously at him. "What is it?"
Kid began to feel shy. Patty made it seem so easy when she gave him her gift. He hesitated a little bit before he showed her the flowers. "This is for you." Kid told her, his cheeks heating up. "I hope you'll like them."
"Aww, they're so pretty!" Patty grinned brightly as she happily accepted the flowers. "Thank you, Kid."
Kid gave her a small smile in return. "It was no problem. I'm just glad that you like them." He was surprised when he felt a pair of lips against his own. He blushed very much, but he didn't push her away. He kissed her back and unconsciously wrapped his arms around her waist. When the kiss broke, they stared at each other.
Kid smiled softly at her and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead, earning a giggle from the hyperactive girl. It didn't need to be told. They both knew that they are in a relationship now. Kid have never thought that he would develop romantic feelings for someone and even end up in a relationship, especially with a person you'd least expect. But honestly, he doesn't complain.
"Hey Kid, how do you think we should tell big sis?" Patty asked him curiously.
Kid's eyes widened when he remembered the small, yet important fact. "...I don't know."
Oh my, I just know it won't be easy for Kid to explain XD
