Into My Reality
As I melt into this kiss,
I realize I want to stay in this bliss,
That I never want to wake from this dream,
Forever to be asleep it may seem.
As I dive into this thought,
I realize that I haven't fought,
That I never try to keep a dream,
Forever I will drown in this memories stream.
As I dream while awake,
I realize exactly what's at stake,
That if I spend my life hoping,
Forever I will never start coping.
As I watch the others play,
I realize that I can never stay,
That my time here won't last,
Forever it shall go by far to fast.
As I see what's begun,
I realize that I'll always shun,
That I will never truly see,
Forever blinded we shall be.
As I write these words,
I realize that I can hear the birds,
That forever they shall sing their song,
Forever I shall sing along.
